honestly they're all fantastic. i just bought the black dial/green bezel with metal bracelet. what a watch. good looking, comfy, accurate, cheap... HELL you have something valuable there. hard to find a best bang for buck than this one.

I bought this in same deal here in UK, like you have always liked this model, especially in the blue. It's a keeper for me.

This is on my 2020 list to hunt. I'm just waiting for my Orient Mako USA 2 to arrive first. I have noticed the prices for ny0040 are good when checking out UK sellers. New subscriber.

Good looking diver, really like the indexes and handset. The bezel gives it a nice aggressive feel too. Congrats on the rebuy!

I really enjoy the clack-y sound of the bezel action on this watch.

This watch is just amazing. I've had mine for over a year now and it's worth every cent. Easy to change straps to fit your lifestyle, very legible, great lume and my bezel lines up perfectly. I much prefer the bezel action on this promaster over the seiko divers at this price range and over the Orient kamasu/ray/mako. Easy to turn with little to no playback. Since the day and date display at 3 is black, it blends nicely into the dial. The dimensions fits my 6.5 inch wrist very well. For me it definitely wears smaller than 41.5mm diameter. Not thick as well for a diver. Imo, this watch is kinda like the seiko monster in the way that it's kinda ugly but beautiful. It's a great watch.

The Seiko Skx009, Seiko Skx007 and this Citizen model are superb

I just bought a black one not too long ago I didn’t know they were discontinued I got it for 100 bucks off the seller on eBay I bought it right after they discontinued the SKX And the prices were crazy on those I almost bought an NH series But I like this because it had 200 m of water resistance And screw down crown in a lot of ways I like it better than a seiko SKX I think because there are less common but every bit The heritage

I prefer the look and size of this one to an SKX, the chapter ring and bezel line up too😂

The winding is more important to me than the hacking.

I have this exact watch and almost sold it because I didnt love it for the first few months... But as soon as I put it on a steel shark mesh bracelet I loved it, it is now a keeper.

Just got back from Iceland to the uk , put on my phone KZread and I just got notified about your show , can’t believe you got rid of this watch you must be nuts it’s a cracking watch , almost bought it myself but bought the skx instead , can see me getting one soon , and the amazon warehouse is 15 mins from my house , if I’m lucky I’ll get it the same day as ordering . It’s very nice. Everything lines up nice. Wish my SKX007 did. I go one of the Fubu special editions last year, the NY-0080 (Black dial/Bezel) Version. It’s has the same non-hacking movement. I personally like the Fubu better, I like the baton markers better. That, however, is a matter of opinion.

I bought the same model about 3 months ago and can't decide whether to keep it or not! I love Citizen divers, but this one runs +30 per day. It's ok, not my favorite though.

They are very similar in size. That's a great question. Maybe the mini Turtle appears larger because of the 3oclock crown position. But overall, they feel very similar in size on the wrist. The mini Turtle does have a very compact lug to lug.

ISO-6425 requires a Unidirectional, locking bezel. So, your watch is doing what it's supposed to. Congrats on the 8204 movement 👏 😎👍

The idea is keeping the crown from digging into your wrist. Kinda like the SKX at 4 o'clock, just moved to 8. Would work great for a lefty too😎👍👊

I love that watch and have it in the permanent collection for about a decade it was standard Italian Navy issue. I am not certain on the packaging as it was rearly sold in the US market outside of internet sales 😁. Most US citizens dealers sell the quartz pro master model essentially a sport watch which has 100 ft less water resistance and lacks a screw down crown. It can be found in department stores and outside the citizens aviation style nighthawk are the best selling line. It is the watch that the new Seiko 5 Skx replacement is designed compete against.

Once u see underpants 12h marker u cant unsee it.

I never cared that this watch was not hacking and the SKX was hacking. Hack the SKX and within a day it's going to be off by 20 to 30 seconds. So, what's the big deal if it hacks? I'll take hand winding over hacking any day. The Citizen NY0070 is superior to the Seiko SKX in every way. Including accuracy.

Enough dive watches already. Most people can't even swim. Enough!!!!!!!!
