Bertucci is the real deal! This is by far the best looking model of theirs I’ve seen. Love this strap color with the dial too. And these straps are THE best!
Had some Seiko Samurai + Turtle. Great pieces. But did not wear them long enough. Have now a Marinemaster as a keeper. So the Steeldive is a cheap remembrance for 100 EUR - well. Get going 🚀
On your wrist the tip of the band almost touches the gray patch but on me there is an inch and a quarter...that's how much bigger my wrist is. I bought some Riche canvas bands and they are way too short, I can barely use the first hole and is way too tight. These bands are perfect.

Losing the SKX in a trade for a Tuna is well worth it. I’ve had SKX’s. They were always overrated, imo. The Tuna is often underrated.

I've read some reviews where people had issues with the springbars popping loose and then concerns about losing their watch. Have you had any issues so far?
Not on watches with matching spring bar sizes. For a Seiko larger springbars, I would swap out what's in the strap.

In the last month I purchased the Citizen Prodiver eco in black and the Citizen Prodiver Marine Coke. Neither came with the dive chart on the band.

Finding this video a bit late but I love your videos! I've considered getting a Deep Blue or a Promaster, but seeing what they offer for under 400 it's hard to really justify any other diving watch for diving/snorkeling.

I’ve got some 4 Dan Henry watches, including this 1970 with the orange dial, so yeah I’m a bit of a fan!🤭 All are very good watches, well made & great designs. I think the prices are pretty good too for what you get.👍🏼

I bought a Dan Henry but immediately returned it. I was not impressed with the quality or level of finishing.
I’ve previously bought 2 chronograph watches from DH and both suffered from QC issues. One with the hands and the other with the crystal. Both issues were sorted via DH’s authorised repairer but not really acceptable from the factory to the customer.

I have a Dan Henry chronograph from a few years ago. I have always liked that watch. This 1970 diver looks good and the price is right.

Great review. Nice watch. I don't think it is a sapphire crystal as you said. None of their watches seem to have sapphire crystals. Which is why I haven't pulled the trigger on a Dan Henry yet.

@@OFD Just checked it says sapphire coated mineral crystal. Im pretty sure that just means fancy mineral crystal.
@marzrad4913 Yes, you are correct. It's actually really good because you get the scratch resistance of sapphire, with the better shatter resistance of mineral. I have a few watches with this set up. Thanks for replying 😎👍
