Hello Lindsay, that was a beautiful unboxing and it was so lovely to see your sheer delight opening up all those gorgeous packages. Rosi is a mega talented lady. I can neither paint, make journals, knit, or crochet but I can appreciate the beauty and the talent that each takes. Late to the party here, but you're not bragging at all. You give so much- It's awesome to see some nice things you receive in return. Being sensitive to chemicals, I appreciate and know if and what they smell like. Wow at those shalls! Would like to see the dot card used. The colors are beautiful, and I always wonder how far a spot on a dot card will go. I need to visit Rosie's shop now.

Your unboxing reminds me of when I was a kid and lived in Florida and my Maine Grammy (my father's momma) would send us a box for Christmas. A huge box that seemed never ending. Some for now , which was usually around Thanksgiving, and wrapped presents for Christmas. And hearing your "Mainer" voice talking about your wonder filled package took me right back to childhood. Grammy has been gone for awhile , I'm 46, it was really nice to be reminded of such a lovely childhood memory. Now, for your package contents, WOW she is very talented and super thoughtful. What a blessing her friendship is for you :)

I love roman szmal paints! Beautiful full pans, all super easy to rewet (even the virdian and cobalt violet) and a huuuge range of granulating and earth pigments 😍

What a kind lady. It will keep you busy for awhile. Gorgeous gifts. The sketchbooks are really nice, that is why I make my own flat hard bound ones but now I get to fill it. Very very sweet of her. Also there is a quality that is called empathy. Usually we think of it when someone has something bad occur so we show fellow feeling, cry with those who cry etc. But empathy also means the absence of envy and another feels the joy or happiness of another. It has been said that it is much easier to empathize or weep with someone else than show genuine joy and happiness. So I was just as excited to see what lovely gifts Rosie gave you and as you had alluded to we also can be inspired to give. “There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.” So true he is.

So enjoyed this and never for a moment did I think it was bragging. Rosy is a good friend!

Lindsay literally sniffs everything as she opens it lol I didn't know everyone asks you how things smell. That's interesting- thanks for doing the sniff test. You can use the rubber band for exercising, it looks super strong... wow, the first time I have a palette that Lindsay doesn't have. It keeps the paint wet- but slightly difficult to clean out the compartments.

I love unboxing videos and it was lovely hearing how excited you are opening all those goodies. Love the knitwear and I hope to see it in a future Sat chat 😃 I'm going to check out Rosie's etsy shop now.
