Man, that was really nice, on both counts... to the subscribers as well as the number picker! As far as announcements beforehand, I say don't do it. You will just get a fake bump in subscribers that only care about winning a contest. I have a buddy who did a hand made knife video at maybe 10,000 subs and he promoted it all over social media, and he just mentioned on his latest live that he won't ever do that again, since the guy who won had literally never posted a single comment and had only ran across the giveaway notice on Instagram the day before, so he commented that yes, he would like to win a hand made knife. He won the contest the next day and after taking delivery, he un-subscribed and never made any other contact with Justin's channel again. He's getting close to 20K so he was brainstorming what to do when he hits 20. He is a cool, downhome country boy from Neshoba County, MS. His channel is Spirit of The Outdoors on YT. I don't know any of his other social media since I don't do all that. But check him out if you like country living and you love Jesus :)

When that channel i was talking about mentioned that it made a lot of sense. It's one of those it was HARD for me not to say anything about it on other social media platforms but I was able. Like i said it was for people like yourself that I wanted to do the giveaway for. If I do one on other social media platforms then i'll limit it to those. That is unfortaetnly what happened but I can see that being a big thing with people. Even if I was to run across it I would try not to enter because I do want it to be for their views. I'll be sure to check him out and you know I do love Jesus!!!

I liked the way you did that, hidden, random stranger in the parking lot, the whole bit was cool. Not just saying that cause I won. LOL You are one generous dude. I will have to think about how to pay this forward.
