thanks for the vid. since you have both monitors, have you tried running them as dual monitors? the ultra wide in the middle with the 4k to the side or vice versa?

Thats a great idea! but i actually returned the ultrawide. if anything, I would probably just invest in another 4k monitor. Check out Jordan Pulmano on KZread, he is a creator that did dual monitors with this exact monitor and I think its ideal to have the 4K option on both

For the issue on not moving the mouse from one screen to other go to apple screen preferences >arrangement tab. drag the screens to align so that you can move the cursor.

@@MasonRippel Windows works the same as well. Google it how to rearrange your screen.

I got an ultrawide recently, it is nice when I am working on one or two programs but 3 windows as touted by many is a constant struggle for managing which window will go where with what size.

yeah, good point... it seems amazing in theory but I feel like there are more tradeoffs than people think. Happy with my decision still, but ultrawides are dope

Thanks for the detailed comparison video. I am looking to buy one of these monitors and still confused. I do video editing and web design. I would love the 34 inch ultrawide 1080p monitor for screen real estate but just wondering if the text is sharp enough for design work. Is the text too blurry? Or do you suggest sticking to the 27 inch 4K. Please help

It should be alright! I didnt use it much and am not a web designer so I cant tell you forsure, but if you are doing any 4K video editing I would just get the 4K model. I really noticed a difference in video quality on it.

@@MasonRippel Thanks for the reply. I am used to my mac book retina display so I made a decision to go with the 27" 4K monitor. Waiting for it to be delivered, your video was helpful.

How would you compare a lower resolution like 1080p 27” to a 1440p 34”? I am considering a downgrade because i want money..

I mean at that point I would get the 34 inch forsure. But thats the same resolution in theory so if the 27 inch is in your budget I would get it! Still will be solid I am sure

I bought an ultra wide 49 inch. I kinda regret it. $1100 for 5400 x 1440 is not worth it, when you can get 2 4k 32 inch monitors. Plus for a ultra wide 49 , you have to spend 100 on a heavy duty mount. I got caught with the ultra wide mania.

I think people get caught up in the 4K resolution hype. If you're creating 4K videos then yes, you will need that resolution but otherwise it's not necessary. On a 49" you're getting a ridiculous amount of screen real estate and no bezel in-between which is a bonus.

@@cun7us How good of a blessing not having a bazel is ? I struggle without bazel because I am constantly struggling with docking windows at proper places. With multiple monitors you can easily drag and drop

@@abdulraheemsiddiqui9536 that's why you should get LG's on screen control which allows you to have multiple window selections. It was designed primarily for ultrawide monitors to utilise the screen real estate.

@@portman8909 no stupid, it’s just that the Maya looks a lot bigger than necessary thus shrinking the design space due to the low resolution. I’ve sold mines already for 1000. Just got two 4K 32 inch . Bezel isn’t a big deal. Resolution allows more real-estate for what I use it for. Cheers !

1440p ultrawide is better than 4k, but I wouldn't use a 1080p ultrawide....
