Ultimate Orlog Game from ASC Valhalla: DIY Full Tutorial

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

For as long as I've been playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla, I've been wanting to make my own Orlog game. After a few months of preparation, I was actually able to do it this week.
I started by turning two padauk bowls. It's been a long time since I turned some wood, and even if I lack technic and skills, it was really fun to see these bowls appear little by little. I used #180, #240, #320, #400, #600, #800, #1200 and #1600 grit sand paper to get a smooth finish and applied two coats of boiled lindseed oil.
Then I design all the parts on Illustrator, and used images of the Gods found on the internet to great the God favours. I engrave 5mm birch plywood to create them and the tokens.
Engraving the dices was a little bit trickier so I made a simple jig to be able to position the dices precisely everytime.
Now my son and I can play Orlog together and we're both super happy with how the game turned out.
Thanks for watching the video, I hope you'll like it. If you do, don't forget to leave a like and a comment to help the channel.
Thanks a lot to Dan's from @WonkyWorkshop for the Padauk blanks, and to
SCULPFUN for providing me with the S30.
