Let me show you my Leatherworking Room - First Shop Tour 2021

As I need a few more days to finish my current project, I've decided to do something I've never done before: a shop tour. You've probably seen my garage and the little Forge in my videos, but I've never showed you in details what my leather workshop looks like. So today, I'm showing you what my "leatherworking room" as I call it looks like.
As always, thank you for watching, be good, be safe, keep making, and see you in the next one!

    Dead rabbit made me laugh out loud! Thanks Red, this was a great video 😊 I think smaller spaces are fab for making you be organised and only having what you really need in there 👍

    Hi red I enjoyed your tour of your work place , And to your parents I love the wall paper. I have a small shop as well and last week I had a clean up , I found a 4inch grinder and a hand drill that I missed placed a year ago , I think the secret to a small shop is keep it organised and only have what is necessary . but as you mite know it's hard to throw any thing away . Thank you for the tour . :)

    Yo Red! Thanks a lot for the Workshoptour! What I was thinking while watching...you have kind of a perfect setup for livestreaming there. You could make some leather keychains and sell them to the viewer while streaming. I would gladly watch this mate! Mayne think about that in the future? Best wishes mate!!! Keep it up!

    Hey there! You're not wrong! THat's something I've considered and I think I'll give it a try. I just need to invest in a good quality streaming camera and learn how everything works, but I'll keep that in mind ;) Thanks a lot for watching!

A plouch 😉

    Salut Sylvie !!

    Sir G, good to see you and your leather / computer workshop. Looks like you're doing great. Nice Pfaff you got there, I have a 260, a 262 and a 363 for my sewing. Awesome machines. Looking forward to see some more leatherwork, we bought some leather to make a bag, but it's still waiting for the right inspiration 😎. Good to see your flag, good memories. All the best my friend.

    If i were closer than i'm for now, it will be exactly what I would do. But 200Km to go to work on project isn't a great idea (in time, in money and for the planet). So i watch youtube video, waiting to move in much appropriate place :P Thanks for the tour ! Hope to take a beer soon !

    you have a lot of money tied up in leather product. You should be buying what you need when you need it, otherwise you are just hoarding it.

  • @RedSmith

    @RedSmith

    That's exactly what I do. I only something when I need it. All my products and hides are here for a reason and a specific project I often do or will do. I don't have any money to waste in hoarding.
