Would be great to see this for the 722.9 gearbox!

Hey, are u planning on doing rev-matching any time soon or its insanely hard to do with this TCU? I feel that upshifts in that gear box are somewhat ok but downshifts are realy slow and horrible!

You have exactly the car/motor I have and I am hoping to put a 722.623 (580nm torque rating) from an E430 in there. I am hoping this is the solution to being able to do that. It very much looks to be. Do you have it in your car now and if so, with what trans?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but what is the difference between this tcu and for example ofgear. So far i have understood that the ofgear is a fully standalone tcu and yours is sort of like a piggyback tcu, is this correct? And with ofgear there is a infamous 3-4 flare problem, wich doesnt seem to have solution other than to modify the valve body, does your tcu not have this problem or solve it somehow?

simply put, OFGear is meant for standalone setups. This TCU is meant to be a drop-in replacement for all the cars that came with the EGS51/52/53 modules (W210-W212 model years). It uses the OEM CAN network for data retrieval and transmission, so will not work in standalone environments.

The original firmware has an Olde English, medieval appeal for me, since it's described in the second segment as "thee"... Although mayhaps thou shouldst have cited it as "thine", for grammar's sake?

Can you provide the can messaging schema for those wishing to use a standalone with the controller?

Unfortunately I can't. This tcu uses the OEM CAN schematic for 51/52/53 generation cats, which is very complex.

Well, this whole series and guides is only about the ultimate nag :) ....so yeah, you can't do this on OEM tcu at all!

No, you can't rev match a slush box like this one as at any time there is always a clutch engaged, so if you tried to rev match, the whole car would still accelerate as the engine still has some influence, even during gear changes

I would like to buy a unfinished set of this pcb. All components and the pcb to solder it by my self. It's totally unlikely to buy all the parts and order the pcb. In my opinion it's to expensive for a single pcb and not sensefull. Your price for your finished product is really good. But I would enjoy it a lot to solder it by my self. I love such small smd projects. 😍😍😍

722.6 is 722.6, so yes. FYI, NAG1 is just the American abbreviation for the 722.6 gearbox, it's the same thing :)

Well depends on your setup. I don't support standalone. This tcu requires the OEM can network to work
