Korean here, started watching your videos last month. I have really enjoyed them and will continue watching them as you travel to different countries :) Keep up the good work!

Those temples are just wonderful and the artwork is breathtaking. South Korea is on a par with Japan for sheer beauty. Seeing North Korea was actually quite emotional- you can almost sense the atmosphere there. Thank you so much for your wonderful commentary and photography.

I so loved ur korea travels so much friendship n generosity, all the temples are so different n the last was started by one man dedication n in finding peace with the lanscape.
So moving. I had tears listening to that singing while seeing the images from North Korea and knowing that some peoples reality is so different.

I am Korean. There is my grandfather's graveyard in the mountains where the observatory is located As the Korean War broke out, they fled to South Korea and were unable to return, so they also landed on Gyodong Island, the northernmost island
She asked you if the van is associated with the US Army because of its license plate, as vehicles belonging to the US Army are exempt from toll charges.

The size of whole Korean peninsula(85,500 sq mi) is almost the size of Great Britain(80,823 sq mi). So basically you guys are travelling from London to Norwich - Hull - Leeds - Birmingham - Bath - Bournemouth - back to London - Gloucester - up north to Lancaster and then to Manchester and Liverpool! I'm sure it wasn't easy but it looks like you two had a great time! Thank you for visiting S. Korea and please do come back :)
Oh my goodness people 😮. What an episode! From a beautiful temple to a tunnel I would have died in 😅. Hope you gave Kim a wave from the viewpoint!

Over 50°C and the thermometer dies, it remembers me about a video I saw last week, and guy repairing a Brazilian VW Saveiro (small pickup) that got 2 problems, the instrument painel died and AC wasn’t working. The dead painel didn’t allow the car to start, the cristal oscillator on the circuit was rated to 90°C and stopped working, same thing with an resistor on the AC, how hot that car was? 🔥 Last week was around 60°C in Rio de Janeiro, today is around 20°C

Enjoy your trip💙
Have a good time!!!!!!
How beautiful is the temple
I wouldn't have trusted an 18 month old Fiat Ducato van let alone a 18 year old Fiat van without any real particular adaptation or modifications to handle such a long journey. Thank you for visiting Korea! The one you saw at 19:00 is made to avoid car accidents with real people, since it happened several times before. It’s for the safety of the workers!
Wow, the wishes for peace, the serenade and your comments about being able to drive from the U.K. to a stones throw from North Korea were moving. Seeing North Korea across the DMZ really puts things into perspective. I could not help but wonder what might happen if someone tried to drone the rest of the way, a possible war? Looking forward to traveling Malaysia with you, and seeing my old home away from home. I think you will enjoy it as well.
Regarding fitting Trudy into that tight tunnel. Many moons ago I was train crew on the London underground. During initial training as a guard one had to learn to drive for emergency purposes. The first time I was in the cab of a Piccadilly Line train and entering the tunnel my first reaction was "We're never going to fit!" But then reality took over and I realised that lots of trains had done so before. I later learnt that there is about eight inches clearance between the top of the train and the tunnel roof. Happy travels.

Ohhhh, I waited till the end of the Maisan part of the video hoping you will introduce the fact, but you missed out that MaiSan is also famous for it's two mountains like a lady's bosoms. But at 5:49 , you can see the tow(buddied) MaiSan at the down-right of the screen which it shows a glimpse of the mystical MaiSan ^^

Your awe at seeing North Korea reminds me of my first trip into West Germany in 1980 and travelling to the brochen in the hartz mountains where we could climb to a observation point to look over the iron curtain of the German German border with East Germany. Wowie.
13:34 The liana climbing the cliff face is Campsis grandiflora, and it is quite stunning when it blooms. I am not sure if you would ever visit Korea again, but if you do, I highly recommend visiting Cheollipo Arboretum, the dunes of Sinduri, and the Pine forests of Anmyeon Island.
