These documentaries are so old it seems the creators havent noticed and have not made any copyright claims. If Im correct this is called Customs UK and I think ITV hold the rights to this.

If your dog is eating feces it is because something is lacking in his diet. Doesn't mean you are bad or doing anything wrong. They do it in the wild also. It is not healthy for the dog obviously because they can pick up parasites and disease. Your dog sounds awesome!

He's a Labrador and 1 in 4 are known to have a genetic condition which makes them unable to tell if he full or not, if I gave him 15kg of food to eat he would try to eat it all(a months food in one sitting) he would eat until he's sick. It's why there are so many overweight Labradors, owners have to be so strict to keep them in shape. It has nothing to do with him lacking nutrients etc.. but you carry on analyzing dogs that you have no knowledge of. What you're saying is the same as saying that ANY dog with something like Pica is lacking nutrients which is completely stupid and any vet or enlightened person knows

When they do the tests for drugs, they really need to perform a negative test as well in order to show that the machine is calibrated properly and not reading any contaminating drugs from other tests. I sure hope they make sure the machines are working properly.

Watch closely and you will see that most of the officers do not wear gloves . If a officer was in touch with cocaine earlier that day , he will contaminate the swap sample , and the machine will do its job and indicates on cocaine .

@@MilesCobbettdon’t know how it works with drug test machines but for alcohol breath reading machines like intoxilyzers they have an automatic calibration and purge cycle which activates prior to each use. This is intended to rid the machine of any contaminants which might interfere with the current test.

those computer sensors used to detect trace cocaine need to be dialed back they seem to be wayyyy to sensitive.

Apart from that , it might contaminate the sample from her own hands . If the officers was in touch with cocaine ( which is most likely ) the machine will indicates cocaine on the sample taken from the Mans shoes 🖕

If I had only seen these videos, I wouldn't want to bother going to the UK. But I have been there a dozen times and never spent more than 30 seconds with a customs agent. So travelers, don't let this series scare you off!

People who pass through with no problem are not interesting television. Selection bias, the whole point is to showcase what happens when they contact someone of interest. It's like an episode of COPS where the officers spend a ten-hour shift with no interesting calls.

Seems to me these people testing positive are being exposed by other passengers who are carrying and just not being caught?

Traveling alone is not an issue, I've been doing it for over 20 years all across the globe. A few times I've been stopped it's never taking more than a couple minutes, usually that's when I'm coming out of the Middle East.

60 dollars is like 50 pounds or less. That's an alarmingly low amount for any sensible person to travel with. That's won't even cover a basic emergency.

Simple. If for ANY reason the person you meet isn't willing to pay for you then how do you expect to live/get home on $60? People who travel know to have access to far more funds.

That would be a great Candid Camera clip....if the scanner belt went so fast it threw people into the wall! Well, funny for viewers, not so much for the person going thru the scanner.....

Jenelle Wiley I use the term all the time as well as “that’s like saying the door isn’t open or closed, it’s just slightly open”. When someone can’t admit to what is clearly true and obvious, often they take the fudge factor approach. You can’t be slightly pregnant, the door can’t be slightly open. I live in the US West

I'm amazed at how messy and cluttered the offices and other non public spaces are in these airports. They are a hot mess, and I would hate to have to work in surroundings like that. Also makes one wonder how that correlates with the precision and meticulousness the officers are supposed to carry out their jobs.

Honestly them scrambling to find something anyhow is frustrating

Dogs are so amazing

If you are flying from jamaica, Trinidad or any Carribean country you would be a fool to attempt to smuggle drugs. Everyone knows lots of drugs come from there and you will automatically be a target for customs when you get to your destination country.

@AMG BOYZ you are missing my point. What i am saying is that just merely coming from there already makes you suspicious so you are already at a disadvantage if you want to smuggle drugs. Maybe its wiser to smuggle them into a less suspicious country and then continue on to UK from there

Can someone in the know answer this please. With all those semi-trucks coming through, bringing in god who knows who, can’t they switch to thermal imagining so every truck can be searched?

Simple. As most things the answer isn't simple. While the cost of the machines is a factor, there are multiple different kinds of trucks who all cool at different rates, speed of processing those trucks,etc etc etc. It works better with cargo since there's no engine/brakes/etc creating heat.

I beginning to think it’s the machine that has the cocaine problem.

Is every luggage made of cocaine? I’ve noticed a lot of luggages had traces of cocaine

I don't understand why the driver's and companies are fined. It's one thing if you didn't secure your load, but when they hide under the truck, there's nothing they can do. And asking the driver's to check themselves is dangerous. 4 guys desperate to get somewhere could easily harm or even kill a driver. It's EU and UK policy and laws creating the problem and private companies are suffering

It doesn't suck, it's extremely sensitive, and getting trace hits of cocaine is so easy to get, cocaine is on everything especially if you go to South America and just touch like anything in public.

Do people still do this much coke? I haven't heard of anyone doing blow for at least 10 yrs. Just OD from heroin.. Does that thing even register heroin?
