Even in his prime, I just can’t see Silva beating Jones. Don’t get me wrong, he was unbelievable, but Jones is just too fukin good and too well rounded. I know Sonnen lost the first fight against Silva, but he basically dominated Silva the entire fight until there was like 10 seconds left in the fight and then got caught in a triangle. Something like that has never happened to Jones. He’s never once been dominated in a fight before.

This was actually a pretty good list, but they had Daniel Cormier at #40, and that’s absolutely insane. Cormier is without question one of the 10 best ever. Except for Jones, he’s the greatest Light Heavyweight of all time. And he’s also one of the best Heavyweights of all time. He should be around #4 on this list.

To me the greatest fighter is between Anderson The spider Silva and GSP. Both are great in different ways

I don’t think there’s any question that the 4 greatest MMA fighters ever are Fedor, Jones, Silva, and GSP. But after that, I don’t know how you would rank them. I think GSP is the most perfect, from a technical point. His technique was just impeccable. And his endurance was second to none. Jones seems basically impossible to beat. Not only is his talent at a level that nobody can match, but he is also an incredibly smart fighter. He doesn’t get enough credit for how intelligently he fights. He never makes mistakes and always stays calm. Silva was possibly the most brilliant striker ever but he also had great defense and BJJ. And Fedor was just an absolute monster. He was so powerful but so fast and just did everything well. I dunno. You could really argue for any of them being the greatest. Plus, if Khabib keeps getting better and improving his striking ... he might be in the running as the greatest ever.
