@mr nom naah kicks are extremely powerfull done right look at muay thai buakaw he basically elliminates his opponents with only leg kicks or body kicks to same area, if you joe rogan last scene it takes a fraction of a second for him to perform one of those high kicks to the head certainly not expected

What ribs?

Taekwondo underrated because of the Olympic sport. My TKD is key in my Boxing and Muaythai as strange as that sounds. The hips, in and out movement, chamber of the kicks, hiding and allowing mid air changes. Although I started at 13 and Stopped at 19, it was easier for me to flow and adapt because I also started Muaythai at 17. I mention this because TKD has horrible habbits that are trained in, and many of my friends who only did TKD or wanted to train new arts in their 20's had a much much harder time transferring skills over, and dropping bad habits like counter arm swings when kicking, low hands to block body kicks and excessive hopping.

It's just audio desync. It's an editing error, and has no relation to the power of the kicks. The sound, and video are not properly synced, so you see what happens in the video, before the sound plays.
