I thought I’d share what I found out, I got to the step where you disable your graphics card when I did the game finally opened but super choppy and slow so I closed it and retried it and it’s running smooth as silk now I’m guessing disabling and re-enabling the graphics card helped me

At last Found the real Problem. Unreal has a contract with Nvidia to make sure the cpu runs more to keep the gpu down. It has been more common with the new 40eds out now. They do this to make sure the graphic card stay cools. Found the Data that back it up. At this point Unreal and Unity Better wake up and fix this or data will be let lose. Look at the POWER Pull on a hang on you CPU on a hang.

​@@xia3495 I was having this issue with Harvestella and adding the game to Steam as a nonsteam game, fixed the issue. I also did the "-dx12" thing he has in the video but I don't know if that helped or if it was just adding it to steam that helped.

In you resolution have 1080 p to up. And distribution and scale of text 100%, no more. By default is 125% in windows 10. Change to 100%

how about no steam because i have a crack file copy free of the quarry thank you ,, i cant try the dx11 thing because crack file is no steam

You need to edit game settings available in localappdata folder or else you can run the game in steam by clicking on “add non steam game” in lower left corner then you can easily add launch options

What about overclocked ram?? does it affects the game

Disable using msi afterburner or riva tuner..

I found this solution: So these are the steps for laptop. If you are using a laptop try the below steps. 1. Connect laptop to charger. Open UNREAL ENGINE and check if crash happens. Mostly crash won't happen at all. 2. DISCONNECT CHARGER from laptop. Open UNREAL ENGINE and check if crash happens. Mostly crash WILL happen. 3. Open NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE application[from tray or start menu] . Go to setting > Games > BATTERY BOOST > DISABLE BATTERY BOOST. That is it. Now... disconnect your charger. Open unreal engine and keep working. THE CRASH WON'T HAPPEN. So as you can see that the power management from nvidia geforce experience was causing the issue.
