That’s because the style of play only works when teams are actually running sets. Pick n Roll offenses is all about catching the defense off guard. Well if the defense is playing for you to catch them off guard then you basically have so many open lanes it’s basically easy turnovers(+10/game turnover ratio before Feb/-14/game after til present. It literally was night and day but it’s also that coaches wasn’t planning on having to rely on zone sets because of the amount of offball screens this team sets every play

more like ppl and the media are way quicker to write off UConn as a program when their teams have a tough stretch going 6 of 8 or something while in brutal conference, but give the benefit of the doubt to the Dukes and Kansas's who can do the same or worse

Yeah, Duke's been in the top 10 for almost this whole season with no quality wins.

IONA senior during this game, lifelong UCONN fan. I was in quite the conundrum during that first round. Iona could have beaten a lot of teams in that tournament.

They could have won a game or two. I didn't see them getting to the sweet 16 or anything like that but unfortunately for them, they were obviously paired with UConn
