Agreed.. I think he only went to USC because it’s close to home and it’s the “celebrity” school/prestigious.. and I think that was all he considered when thinking about college.. probably thought he could come in and ball for a year for an easy ticket into the NBA. When he should have gone somewhere far away from his dad and his dad’s influence. Somewhere where the coach would shoot it to him straight and honestly try to develop him into whatever potential he has and as you said.. I agree, I think his bread and butter would be as a role player. Maybe a career as a 6th man utility player or at least for his first few years. But yeah, somewhere in the ACC/B1G or even the SEC but I think UNC would’ve been a great fit for him potentially. Or even a smaller “big time” school like Gonzaga (just an example).

@@deanwilson7070 I’m definitely not a JeBronistan but to be fair.. Bronny was at a basketball factory high school where every starter and even kids on the bench are getting big D1 offers. It would be hard for anyone to truly standout and shine in that environment. Bronny had to adjust to what the team needed and what he could provide.. and that was as a solid role player that could give you 10-15 points and was a great defender.. if Bronny went to just any ol’ high school like most players that go D1.. he’d have most likely been the only one on his team even looking at going to college.. so he would’ve had to carry that team more like his dad did to a degree in high school and he’d have probably put up 30/8/8 or better every game. Idk.. that’s just my opinion and I don’t even like his dad anymore and am not particularly invested in his son.. just trying to provide an outside/objective opinion/observation.

This game was terrible all around, settled for 3s, everyone got scared of ballo, arguable calls in the first half, nobody hit anything til the game was already over. Comin into the second half you’d think they’d put more energy out there but KJ Lewis put everybody in a blender. I don’t wanna hear nothin bout colliers bc he got scared of ballo and didn’t drive the entire time even when ballo wasn’t in the paint and 6 turnovers man jeez. There’s nothin left to say man they weren’t consistent the entire season, they had no big to actually hold it down in the paint, and nobody to turn to for a 3.

Everyone ignore bronny. He is always open on the corner but no one want to pass the ball to him...everyone working on their draft stack.

Only reason USC beat AZ was because AZ partied too hard too hard in LA the night before with Richard Jefferson and then checked out because they already won the Pac-12 regular season. 3 of the 5 starters had a combined 12 points. Caleb Love had 2 points. They just didnt show up.

USC has had success under Andy Enfield but here's where what the question should be. If this were football, would you keep him? Just like they went out and got Lincoln, you need to hold the basketball program in the same light. 11 years and only one elite 8? While Enfield is a good recruiter there seems to be an issue figuring out the puzzle or putting the pieces together. Maybe he'll get lucky but he's had his teams now especially Jordan McLaughlins bunch where he had them for 4 years and 4 out of the 5 starters were 4 star recruits as freshman and never even make it to a sweet 16. I need to leave sports alone!

Bronny is going to be a really good to even great college player by his junior year. But he's simply not an NBA player. With his pedigree, he should be way better than he is. For Bronny to get the minutes he's been getting, someone else who is better than him is not playing. This is why they're losing. These guys aren't ignoring him for no reason. There are HIGHSCHOOL players in the LA area right now that are better than him. Alijah Arenas could go to USC right now (at 15 years old) and give that kid about ten practices...He could legitimagely take Bronny's spot on that team. Arenas is what a future pro looks like in HS. Bronny is not an NBA player. Can he play pro overseas in a "lesser" league, sure. But not the NBA.
