You ain't kidding. This team was only as deep as you can get but tough as nails. Oh how I wished they blew the doors of Kansas had they played in the tournament. Oh well lol #5

I think it was the most underrated champions ever. Lost 8 games but really should’ve been only a 4-5 loss team.

Ok I take that back, Xavier, Marquette, Providence, and St Johns beat UCONN fair and square in January despite the fouls called. But half of UCONNs losses were lost by one possession that they really should have won but a loss is a loss at the end of the day

i think they needed it. they ran through non-con with no problems. blew the doors off good teams like alabama. Losing the way they did in league made them focus and realize it wasn't gonna be given to them
