Thanks Ash. I agree regarding the triple stacked orders and declined every single one. Most drivers don't even have enough room in the delivery bags , items get damaged and takes too long for the last order to be delivered.

I have received 1 triple stack and it was in late 22 or early 23 on a weather impacted night when I think they were short drivers. I would love these if they could route them with a small grocery order, followed by 2 pickups from the same restaurant.

Its true about the fact that many drivers can't handle 3 orders at once due to the space in their delivery bags. I didn't even think of that.

Abd thank u Ash, i just stumbked on your channel today . You're not like the other flashy youtube drivers who just show off but your podcasts are quite educational. Been doing the gig for 2 years and yes i just left my 8 yr caretaker school job, which was very long hours, manual working and crap pay. Im now alm in for my delivery driving now, using 2 apps fod a while now and signing up for uber. Been doing it part-time but it was the flexibility and being my own boss whick gave me swift kick in the ass toleave mg toxic, unsatisfactory position i wastrapoed in for years. I feel free, relaxed and confident knowing its all going to work out, and my family supports me 💯. Thank you for all your tips and i will make you my main driver resource from now on. I appreciate the comment Chris! Yeah I am more in for realistic answers and sharing my experience. I am not into click bait or flashy titles lol. I truly hope the videos I have to offer do help you on your gig work journey. I know what it's like leaving a full time job and doing gig work, it's tough but if you are happy with it now, go for it!

Michigan doesn't even have quests, they got rid of that almost two years ago and they don't do surges either.

Many got rid of them since Covid I find. It's not something you see anywhere much anymore.

Great video, Ash! I do agree with you about multi-apping, but it just isn't very feasible in the market I normally deliver in. Uber Eats and other delivery apps are basically non-existant here. You might get a couple of orders with Uber Eats and I don't think GrubHub (American version of Skip the Dishes) gets anything. Fortunately, DoorTrash is somewhat viable on its own. But if it is possible, I would definitely multi-app to make the most (and best) money. Hope you're having a good one, Ash!! Edit: and about triple-stacked orders, I guess you could say I've gotten them, but I was always making the first delivery when I'd get the third order. I haven't seen 3 sent at once with DoorTrash.

As long as it works for you that's the main thing and I find it interesting how Uber uses triple stacks but DoorDash seems to avoid it. Likely a better choice for DoorDash anyways if you ask me

Late at night one time, a bunch of no tip culvers orders hit us drivers just before the restaurant closed. I had 4 orders with 3 drop offs, as one customer had 2 orders just on him. It paid like almost 20 dollars to make 3 drop offs and all 3 customers were close with in proximity. They were the normal orders that most drivers wouldnt drive into them neighborhoods especially late at night.

Hey Ash, interesting you made this today. Got tip baited yesterday and docked ratings on Ubereats, probably the biggest ever and for no reason. No matter what we are right sometimes we are wrong sometimes depending on who we deal with.

I'm going with uber cheats by default simply because their system like accepting orders are is a little less pain in the ass than door trash is. Note: uber cheats is still a pain in the ass.

Nope I don't and I no longer have access to IC app but I can say at least that with a double order at check out its the same as a single. Keep both clients apart from one another and charge 2 separate transactions. I can make a video about it but I won't really have the visuals.

I have gotten triple stack orders in Boise Idaho. After taking one it was too much of a hassle so I never did it again. Love double stack orders. I’ve had a double stack that picked up at the same restaurant and went to the same apartment complex. How does that happen. Thanks for all of the great info.

i like to call quests Commitment contracts like joining a gym. you are stuck trying to grind out the quest app as a priority. committing to the particular app as a commitment

We got deliveroo uber eats and just eat here in the UK. Agreed 💯 what u said. This week, double orders, after 2 years of doing the gig, made me realise that u havd to be careful with them. If from 2different restaurants, sometimes you havd to wait longer on the first ir second pickup. When you pick up from the next one, the company/ customer is calling to say you are delaying the orders. I dont know what to do. Shall i reject doubles and do good paying singles instead ? I did singles only last last night and rejected all the doubles...seemed to work, and the pay was good, and it was a stress free run. What do you think? Please advise. Thanks.

One thing I like with Uber Eats over Doordash (even though it can be extremely annoying on the timing of the orders) is when Uber Eats sends you another delivery about 1-2 minutes before drop off of the current delivery you are on. I don't accept many of these, but it's a nice feature to keep going and have something lined up. I wish Doordash would do this, as they have so many more orders and would be a lot easier for them to do this. I would be more inclined to accept an ok order with Doordash if they did this at times, just to keep my pace going and having another order ready to go.

It's true, that does help to push more orders to a driver faster compared to not having any until you are completed. I do feel a small amount of pressure though because I feel I have to hurry more but it balances out lol

Grubhub does the same too, showers you with orders so you cant complete the delivery. I know theres a button in both apps to stop new requests.

It's not but they can change or choose the rules to their platform when they want and we have the independent right to work for them with those terms, or not. Sadly.

That's why I mention highly and often that people do need side income or part time income to do this, it's not sustainable for most as a full time job.

Where are you that DoorDash can pay a base rate of only $2.50??? That's CRAZY low! I've never been paid less than $4 base here in BC. $6 for 2 pickups going to one destination.
