Nice! How do you set up your guitar to add a little "grain" to the typical mostly smooth "boom" that I think we normally hear from the bass guitar?
the tabs are in ultimate guitar. It may not be exactly as been played here but good never the less. There are a few different versions of this song with slight variations.

@61head see, you pretty much took my comment in pretty much the worst way possible. I was merely trying to be funny, playing on the difference between bob marley and UB40. And I've had several situations where people have connected this song with Bob Marley saying this was "his cover;" which he never did.
it bothers me that people think Bob Marley sang this song. Partly because credit is misgiven and partly because a bunch of pasty white guys made it.
@Dmully I know of no one who thinks Bob Marley sang this song; misgiven is not an actual word; and music is universal but you sound like you dislike it for no other reason then racial. That's like saying a non-pasty white guy cannot sing, say, an original Beatles song. By the way, I am a non-pasty white guy and I find your post not just irrelevant, but actually quite silly.

So suddenly it's a shit song if it's by UB40? Bob Marley is not the only succesful/good reggae artist. UB40 has lots of awesome tunes. You should give them more credit.
