Yh I'll appreciate that two.

Timing is crucial in Reggae and makes the player. With reggaebass you can pull or push te groove. You are very on top of the beat. Try and experiment with a lazy timing on the first count for example. Like you slide into it. ( The heathen, on babylon by bus, demonstrates it well). This is equally important as the notes. Familyman really mastered it. Keep up the good works, One love

I agree, there are a lot of subtle things happenign with Family Man's bass line that you only hear when you try to play it.... I have the cover of Heathen (original version) and also noted that... I hopr i made it justice!

+popoaggie This is not ska - it is reggae. Ska is the music genre that preceded reggae. I am not sure what the origin of the name is... google it!
