I live here in Maine, our govt just passed a 'food sovereignty ' act. . So that ANYONE in the state can grow, process AND sell to public from your own farm with NO govnt interference. It's WONDERFUL! More states should do this to protect their small farms and family farm businesses.GO MAINE!!

Agreed. I believe you. You don’t even have to go into detail. I’m reading Lab 257. I’ve realized long time ago that I didn’t trust the government/government organizations. The USDA was involved in Plum island. This is where they weaponized ticks by injecting them with different viruses and additional bacteria, etc I have had Lyme for 35 years. It solidified to me even more just how screwed up our government organizations are. My health has been screwed for years. It’s hard not to be mad sometimes.

I don't know this to be true. But what I've seen with the vaccine bs I very much believe that the FDA is a criminal organization. If a person is injured from a vaxx, the industry that already has unprecedented liability exemptions, will provide their most favorite platitude "Correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation " yet all the stops are pulled when the supposed "FDA testing " occurs. How could they ever deem these vaxxes in a positive light without relying on Correlation does mean causation, when it works in the favor of big pharma.

When a US Marshall, or a sitting Judge, decided to enforce "laws/rules" that ARE unconstitutional, they are breaking their own oath and therefore loose their right to their position. These folks need to loose qualified immunity and need to be criminally charged for abusing their authority. What this Judge and US Marshall's did was violate the Amish peoples freedom of religion.

You are so right Doug. It’s worse than anyone thinks. All the food processors, meat facilities etc. that are being burned up… and yes, the little guys locally here in Oregon having their poultry taken away because of “Avian flu”, then being continually inspected to make sure they don’t get more chickens.

Quitting my 150k a year 16 year union elevator job, packing up our stuff in DC, and heading out west to buy some land and do what you guys do. Wish us luck I'll stay plugged in and I will be creating content when I get out there!

@@arielberger2488 Within the last year there has been a recall on Tyson Chicken parts, Dog food, and canned tuna fish, and the biggest is the shortage of baby formulas due to tainted ingredients. I too use a rooftop tv antennae, but I do get all the major networks along with other shows. I am retired and probably get to watch more TV than you.

This is the biggest problem, and a crime against humanity. We have a human right to grow and produce our food the way we want!

We had the fed come to a local dairy in Indiana. That dairy sells unpasteurized milk. Our sheriff sent them away and let them know they would be trespassing if found on that or any other farm in the county. Befriending your sheriff is key. They are the most powerful person in the county.

A county sheriff ultimately has NO authority over feds.. if a sheriff causes too many waves the feds can have him arrested and removed from his position 👀 Feds have all the control and all the backup they need... Homeland Security, FBI, Secret Service, US Marshals, CIA, Border Control, ICE, NSA, and any of those agencies can commandeer the National Guard.. and if none of that works they have even more backup.. the US Marines and the US Army.. the US Government has power over lots of other nations.. you know they could control their own citizens if they needed to 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Sheriff is actually more powerful than the president. Sheriff holds highest power in the land and I believe is not limited to their own state. They can also deputize anybody on the spot and if I'm correct have as many as they want. Police are funded by the state but the sheriff's department is federally funded. If the police were defunded the sheriff would probably absorb them. This can good and bad as I'm sure a lot of people here know. Please correct me if any of my info was wrong.

Once I started canning, I wanted to can everything (not everybody; error corrected) possible. I went outside the box and carefully canned butter and bacon. Both are amazing! With dairy cows being eliminated from the food supply, butter and cheese will become scarce and expensive. And the government will crack down on farmers who sell to the general public, I'm sure.. This is horrible! The Amish make the most perfect produce, and everything else! Everything is of the highest quality! Yes, my little garden could soon become outlawed! And under martial law (coming soon(, they can take your food, farm equipment, farms, land, storage rooms, basically everything! Jade Helm exercises show how they will round us up! Please look it up. I found out later that it was also a test of AI giving the orders to the military! Didn't Biden just sign an executive order, where the military could end up being used against civilians?

Sheriff's DO NOT have ultimate authority 🤣🤣🤣 The US Government has TOTAL authority in this country. I don't know why people think a local sheriff has any power over feds.. the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security and US Marshals are at the top of the law enforcement food chain.. and supercede any local law enforcement... Don't you watch cop shows on TV... Feds come in and take over local police departments all the time... And they really do do this.. I know from personal experience because we were working one night around 2am (we were kinda making illegal merch) when.. literally out of nowhere, US Customs and US Secret Service came in on me and some friends from every direction and arrested us and seized our shit and no local police ever knew about it or at least no local police were ever present.. and this whole sting was led by US Customs Enforcement Agents with Glocks drawn and they were backed up by US Secret Service Agents who also had Glocks drawn on us...(and who knew...Nike has a police force too, they were there as well with weapons pointed)👀 It was really kind of cool to be honest... But it was also kind of scary too...because if we'd have resisted in any way they were armed to the teeth and would have wasted us with no problem and local police wouldn't have any jurisdiction over what happened and they wouldn't even have to tell the local sheriff shit about it... 🤣🤣 Our little part of this was a small fish scenario and the feds fucked with our lives for a few weeks and eventually moved on up the chain of the operation to who ever it was running the uh business (we were in South Carolina and the ones they were after were in New York City and China I believe).. they rolled over us and shut our shit down and moved on.. I never knew what happened after that and really didn't want to know... But I know eventually they fucked someones lifestyle up when they kicked their door down.. 🤯🤯🤯

Just popping in to say I appreciate you getting the word out to your large audience of something I’ve been aware of for a long time. This was in the planning stages a long time ago starting with grocery stores selling gmo tomatoes for example. Everyone should be able to save seeds from their produce to plant the following year and the govt took that away. Thank god I learned about heirloom plants!

Wonder if the Amish would be interested in talking with Alliance Defending Freedom to possibly do a lawsuit. This is right up their specialty. I'm an Ambassador for ADF and can help.

Are you all still paying in federal reserve dollars? If so you all should consider getting away from the dollar and make sure you don't use your SSN, as private individuals and organizations the Feds /state has NO right to interfere with contract law that is constitutional!! Please fight this with the farmer they need you members to stand with them and in your private capacity not your public strawman. You must fight with the farmer to secure your rights and food! As a matter of fact, the contract I signed with this farmer and the other farmers use "anti-strawman" language such as we are operating outside of commerce as private individuals. I'll have to find my copy. I put a lawyer in a corner and he refused to answer the difference between my name in capital letters and my name written the way the system taught us to. They ALL know. Here's what I don't know, though. Aside from bartering, what do we use besides the debt notes?

It's tortious interference. The question of money, the only true money is gold and silver, says so in the constitution. You can have tender backed by gold and silver like we used to have pre 1930s but it must be backed. I sure hope you and all the members fight like hell with the farmer! The toilet paper shortage was everyone's warning. Baby food shortage was a reminder. Our production and distribution networks work great, right up until they fail miserably. A day is soon coming where all shelves will be empty and ATMs will have no cash. It seems to be the end game that they are playing for. It will happen very quickly when it happens. Like hitting the knee in the curve. Incremental to exponential decline.

I'm right there with you. I am in my 60's and disabled living on ssdi and my son has been constantly sick for over two years. He just got diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I support him and me on my ssdi check. It's been a rough time. I've been trying to stock up on things he needs when he starts chemo at the end of this week. Prices have gone up so much. I look around for the best deals, but, a case of protein shakes runs about $25. Sometimes, even before his chemo, that is all he can keep down. God bless you. We as parents love our children and we will do without to make sure they have what they need.

"Live food doesn't spoil" To get the FDA out of the equation, sell the livestock to the customer. The customer has the butcher do his/her thing, then takes the food home immediately. Our family used to do this with pigs. I know a family that does this with goats and another with sheep.

Sometimes raw milk can be sold for "animal consumption". Laws vary from state to state but maybe you could legally buy for your dog, cat, ect

The fact that there are even laws against selling raw milk (which is the realest of real whole foods) is absurd and should alarm more people!!! I get that pasteurizing makes it "safe" but it also makes it dead and kills the good nutrients. It's the same with selling raw honey or unpasteurized juice. Modern hygiene practices are a blessing to us all but give us legal access to real unadulterated local foods! The government would rather have you buy Frankenfoods because the corporations sell them and then turn around and lobby thereby making government officials $$$. It's all a sickening scam. Leave the Amish alone and leave the real food alone! The only thing they're a danger to is the profits of large corporations. 😡😡😡

I understand from a news article I read that they were selling meat illegally across states lines without Federal inspection. Had they only been raising it for their own consumption I don't think there would have been a problem. We still have to abide by the laws of the land.

I am so aware of what is going on. I am a nurse and I watch what the government is doing with new regulations that affect all of us. I grew up in a union family, my dad spent 43 years working for the railroad so I do remember when the UTU would go on strike and how we took care of other families during the strikes so other families had food and things they needed. My grandparents and parents taught me how to garden and can. How to hunt, whether it be berries or pheasant, quail or deer. I believe in utilizing the barter system to help one another. Yes I live in small town America, but do work in a university city as a nurse. I am stocking with food and. Canning. If I had an extra $250 I would invest in more canning supplies and ways to dehydrate food. I will take care of my own family and friends when It hits the fan.

Hell ! I figured this was going to happen 10 years ago. My wife had a farmer’s market stand where she sold the veggies that we raised in our 9 gardens. Plus home made bread and pastries that she made in the summer kitchen that I built for her. She did this for years. Than all of a sudden state officials showed up. Inspected this and that. Than you had to buy a permit, than they had to inspect the gardens and the summer kitchen and we had to make improvements to the kitchen. Than the next year if she wanted to continue to sell her baking and jams and pickled beans she had to Seneca New York and take a 2 day canning and baking class at the cost of a thousand dollars. We were just little guys mind you. We really didn’t make any money at it, most seasons we broke even. It’s just that my wife enjoyed doing it. Finally it got so complicated that we gave up. I said than that big brother was going to control the food.

It is nice that you are understanding of the government's position. They could have just provided you with the rules and guidelines. This $1000 is an obvious deterent to stop people such as yourself from taking business from retailers and branded producers. The officials probably get a cut of the $1000. You would have to sell 1000 jars for a buck more each to pay for the class, You need to start a private distribution network, like a vegetable club. There is definitely a market for homegrown veggies, It's not worth having a small business anymore. You need 50 employees to cover the buy in costs. It would probably be wiser to put effort into establishing a bartering network than into trying to cover all of the bases individually. And bartering with cash, or whatever, is going to need to happen. Instead of being paid for your veggies you could be having sex with some young honey, You know who your customers were, I don't.

I am 76 and have been growing a lot of food in my raised beds for 3 years. It has been expanding. I would love to have a sun oven. And I plan to make or buy a rocket stove. I am trying out different things to keep myself safe and fed. Canned a lot of things this summer. I purchased some things from local farmers to can and dehydrate. I learned to ferment. That is a wonderful tool. I try not to rely on freezing because if the grid goes down there will not be power. So I am just staying vigilante and learning as fast as I can. Thanks for all the info.

A couple years back a couple had a farm out west and every year at harvest the did a field to table feast for their neighbors and folks who help bring in the crops ( very tightknit and cooperative community ). Make a long tale short they forced the farm owner to jump threw numerous hoops before the weekend feast. These folks I believe said they had a 75 minute 1 way drive to town to attain " Permits " that became deemed necessary. The owners also hired a professional cooking team with a chef and a 48' trailer kitchen to do the cooking. I almost had an orgasm when they panned the camera around the " goods ". A couple of those heavy 8 person picnic tables filled to the max with prepped ( uncooked ) whole turkeys, chickens, beef, pork, lamb - then the row twice the size of bushel baskets of produce - beans, corn, squash and on and on. Looked absolutely amazing. The morning of the party they get raided by Health Dept, police, sheriffs, - everyone with a badge and multiple letters describing themselves. It was pointed out that they had permits - didn't matter, they purchased legitimate profession kitchen staff - same result, THE END RESULT: Everything - every last calorie of homegrown food was put in a pile and saturated with bleach. After all the Government b s was spoken what I remember was a health official stating that the minute a " green bean " was broken in half it became a heath hazard. No party, Wanton destruction of good food, fascist rhetoric and interference at a farm 70 miles away from anywhere other then a couple neighbors and such. Wasn't to long ago - 5 to 8 yrs maybe. - back when they were slamming anyone who considered gardening in their front yard or replaced their lawn with raised beds. We are being led to the slaughter and systematically set up across the board. Climate / disease / personal defense - all being taken away. Doesn't matter the party you choose --- they work for the same boss either way. If anyone else remembers the video/situation please link in the reply.

I also do not have a farm, living in a house in a city once owned and lived on by Native American Indians. I am a female in my late 70's who can according to my brother have American Indian blood in this small and fragile body. Streets in this small town have American Indian streets named after then...for example Mohawk, Seneca and etc. Just recently found out this information. I came across your site on accident in scrolling and looking for information on ow to grow a small garden either strawberry's or tomatoes in hanging pot on my ack porch. I used to live on Wooster, Ohio . The Amish community is big in those demographics. I admire how self sufficient they are.

Just moved to Tennessee from PA. We bought our fruits, veggies and meats from local Mennonite family. They were awesome! I wasn’t far from bird in hand! Thank you for the information! I admire their way of life- this is crazy. Can’t get my mind around how evil this government is!

I would buy everything required for Canning. I have zero experience,but I can learn. Wish I would have paid more attention to Mom when she canned!

Canned goods, water, medical supplies, baby supplies… it absolutely breaks my heart that they even feel the need and to bother someone like that.. shows exactly how threatened they are by the “smaller guys”

Look at what's happening in Australia, especially Victoria. Police going door to door to make sure you were where you were supposed to be then it was random phone calls 24/7 where you absolutely had to answer the phone then send back a selfie within 15 minutes to again prove that you were home . The police swarmed shopping centers at the entrance and then harassed people going into the stores. Did I mention the helicopters that were swarming above plus riot gear marching about? They did this to children at a playground too . The UK wasn't quite as bad but they targeted older people. 4 elderly ladies who lived next to each other ( like in a perfect square- each in a corner) they decided to have a cup of tea outside but social distancing and yelling to each other. That night the phone rang in one lady's house and the neighbor told her to answer the door because the police were knocking. The lady was hard of hearing and thought her daughter was hurt so she went down stares and opened her door . The police asked if she had a party earlier today and she said yes explaining that they were social distancing from each other and simply sat outside the back door of the garden . The police then threatened the woman telling her that she would be jailed if she did that again despite being way more distanced from her friends than the recommended 6 feet . The poor woman was extremely upset and worried about the threats from the police. They were quite intimidating with her . Oh and the next victim was 2 elderly women who bought a cup of coffee and were walking in the park 6 ft apart and following the rules ( no sitting on park benches) The police threatened them and fined them . Why ? The women were according to the police having a PICNIC ! Oh and the police were checking drink cups to see what was inside for some reason to everyone else in the park. Then there's the pregnant woman who was in labor and stopped on the way to the hospital because it was over the Victoria line . She didn't have the certain " ouchie " thats so very popular these days and was not allowed to continue on to the hospital. I don't know how that story turned out. Watch sky news Australia. Very informative about whats possibly heading our way.. I don't suppose anyone here reading this is living somewhere up above Sacramento Calif in gold country?

We need to find a way to help the farmer that got raided financially. If he charges for his membership I'm in even if I never buy his products.

This is so infuriating-especially now with food shortages going on. Thank you for sharing Doug!

This is so sad. Praying that the Amish and all of us continue to stand up for what is right. We must stand together. God bless you both. I have learned so much from your channel!

Thanks for sharing. I am sure that most can feel that your heart is in a good place. With a little extra money we would add more fencing to enlarge our garden area "safe from deer". The loal herd has been increasing exponentially and we have had as many as eleven deer in the unfenced garden at one time.

Honestly I'm quite shocked the Amish are being targeted now. My husband and I have so much respect for the way they live and it hurts my heart to know that even they who do nothing but help others are having their neck stepped on.

I'm not sure why you're surprised. In a time when governments around the Western World are trying to control their populations the Amish are pretty much self-sufficient.

Oh no! I lived 5 miles from bird-in-hand for 16 years. I was wondering if they would leave the Amish alone. They are well accepted in Lancaster county and were left alone by local officials. I know some farms sell raw milk, homemade root beer, ect. and weren’t bothered about it. It’s terrible they are harassing the Amish now.

Yes we had an Amish camel farmer hit with an investigation and sure enough he was fined a terrible amt of money… it isn’t right..the customers wanted the product just as it was produced but the government had to get in there and do their dirty work.

Bad days coming. There is a global green initiative where farmers everywhere will be bullied and harassed by their Goverments. In the Netherland their Goverment is trying to penalize or take the land off farmers for nitrogen in the soil and the strict standards under their Green policy where they want Holland's green house gas emissions cut by nearly half by 2030. This is a actual a global initiative. PM Treadeau is talking about doing the same and Pres. Biden may be signing executive orders soon trying to push the same global green agenda declaring Climate Change a health crisis. This will cause more food shortages and instability. Please read what is going on in the Netherlands and what has happened to Sri Lanka that has now fallen since they embraced green policies that had caused disaster for their country. The Amish will not be left alone with the tyrannical bs coming our way. Dark days are ahead.
