👍 #15 Hello my good friend, wow! those callls right from the off are super impressive! They are very croaky too! I wouldn't want to hear that at first light, unless I was already awake, lol. It's amazing how it is so effortless to continue calling with a beak firmly closed areound the Cockroach. I like the amorous proposition theory, with a gift to tease and help persuade the female to 'go for it'. But then.... he ate it! LOL. I guess she took too long, that'll teach her! Hello 👋 ! I really liked that. The second magpie seemed to be leaving quite disappointed though. But since birds share only with their young it’s completely understandable. Yes most people don't realise this particular subspecies of Magpies can only be found in the southern part of Western Australia. There are other Mag[ies elsewhere but they are slightly smaller and look a little different to these. Thank you for commenting
