I stuck around. 100% worth it!
So cute how she just started harshly criticizing your version

even more funny that it was actually fair criticism! like if you look at hers, it's clearly doing a 'Naruto run' sorta pose, which she accurately described was not on his version!
This was a fun one!
having a artist as your dad is probably the coolest thing ever

Trolling is a art! :)
This is genuinely beautiful in concept and execution. Several weeks ago I was given a 3 year old's drawing of our dog. Our neighbor's kid and her are forming a secret friendship through the fence between our yards. I had to quietly ask his mom who it was a picture of, and my heart melted when she whispered back, "it's Molly." I put it on the fridge with our dog photos, took a pic and texted it to the neighbors. It's still there, and I smile every time I see it. He really nailed her floppy ears, and you really nailed those teeth!
Great reminder to be more whimsical. Love both of your drawings on this one.
That last segment sent my soul to the afterlife, that was way to cute
Unnecessarily educational and wholesome at the same time, almost had an overdose here. But I think U never learned so much in one single video, so thanks!
This was really cool. I like how you explained and simplified all these art principles and made them easy to understand. Also, your interpretation of your daughters drawing looks wonderful!
There's a terrific old Mad magazine article from the '60s that turns kids' drawings of what they want for Xmas into actual toys, which are rendered in perfect, wanky detail exactly as the "kids" drew them.
Super cute! Love how you quickly taught the fundamentals with such a funktacular character!
This is very wholesome and educational. I'm glad I watched it.
I am always in awe of your teaching skills. You fit so much information in such a short time without getting confusing and you keep it entertaining.
i love this little guy. he looks like he'd be named franz.
Love your work, man. You're the best.
This was as informative as it was adorable!! Thank you for uploading!
That ray tracing on a single place is golden
Another Excellent Video. So much Fun and so much valuable information. Thanks Marco!!!
This reminds me of the Face Off (monster makeup) tv show. In certain episodes, the challenge for the artists would be to bring to life, through makeup and costuming of an actor, a child's drawing. They'd have to balance feasability, objective artistic quality, and client demand. Those were some of the better episodes of an already good series, though judging was difficult. (In general, the judges were one of the best assets to the show, as was the lack of aggresive competition and the extant collaborative spirit of the contestants. (Reality tv without the catty drama.))
so sweet (and exucational)! Inspiring video as always
Like always great video. One of the most important subtle things you said was you play around with the blend modes to find which one looks best. It's important to know even the Pros don't automatically know what works its a lot of trial and error. Thanks Marco and thanks to your daughter for another great video idea.
I love videos like these and the spiderverse one. They complement the theory vids so well. It helps to see how all those individual techniques and approaches work together in the making of one piece as a whole
I've learned so much from this Video! Thank you ❤
Reminds me of the annual Extra Life fundraising event WotC does. Children draw versions of MtG creatures, then artists do exactly what you’ve done here
Its like Christmas everytime I see you posted a new little video!
I need more of dis its a great concept
Aww your daughter is an artist already! Must be her genes ;) such an entertaining and entertaining video! I definitely learned a thing or two.
Aww... your little girl is so sweet! ❤
Great video! I have the same tablet actually but since I'm lefthanded I always struggle a bit because I can't simply use the keyboard with my right hand for keyboard shortcuts. It's a bit annoying.
great material! very inspiring :)
I always be nervous af whenever I shown my drawing to kids lol
loved it!
🎉❤ great video with lots of helpful information 🎉
awesome video marco!!! great meeting you at lightbox
Good information and nice drawing. 👍
I was going to say that the character your daughter drew looks exactly like a design from Nightmare Before Christmas. Great movie btw.
I don't wanna be weird but you're SO adorable and it's obvious you're a great dad!
Оживление детского рисунка это прекрасно! Ребёнок чувствует себя волшебником, а папа помощником волшебника!😊❤👍
5:26 funny thing is, im watching this video with my phone on the wacom intuos 3 😂
Incredible
My thirst thought when I saw thumbnail was: Is the second picture an acrilic statue?
It's amating how you can compress information remaining its readibility
Hey! U r a very good artist!
This is a good tutorial.I have a question:are you going to do a video on how to draw noses?
3 words, i love it.
its funny because its actually a good character design!
Where did you get that huge Asaro head?
I couldn't find the cookie stands in your store. I'd like to add it to the AI t-shirt you have. Man, is that relevant! I've seen tattoos that parents of done that are drawings from their kiddos. This would be a super sweet one to do.
Genius
Honestly doing this kind of stuff would be one of the few reasons I would have a kid for XD
the equivalent of my dad throwing 90 mph heaters at me when I was 12
can i get your brush pack please

This looks more terrifying than most Hollywood monsters!
00:07 😂😂😂
Thats so lovely ª----ª
. .. ... can you make an art roadmap? .
A good 4y drawing 👍
🎉
She is a hard critic lol!
I wouldve interpreted what you made part of the neck as a pointy chin

Buti like your interpretation too, its weirder and thus more interesting
She is sooo cute
😭😭😭
Not sure how active you are in the comments,. but I was wondering how you feel about AI art, and how it seems to be taking jobs away from real artists. I am interested in learning to draw but I feel like there is no point since AI in a few years will be able to instantly do whatever art anybody wants.
I can imagine how happy your daughter will be when she sees this. 😍
Enjoyed your video! In character design, tools like Stylar AI are invaluable. This designer-friendly AI tool allows for precise AI model control and image production. It's in its infancy and a little buggy, but I strongly suggest checking it out.
