LOL YEAH
We'll start this with: I'm not that bad at drawing hands. I thought this wouldn't be as good as it was hyped up on tumblr. It is. I didn't even do the grids. The IDEA of the grids and the explanations fucking boosted my hand drawing into orbit. I can do foreshortening now. If you want to learn how to draw hands. Try this. TRY IT. YOU WILL GET BETTER ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS IS A GAMECHANGER.

I've divided each chapter into a different day and the progress I made is unbelievable. I'm truly shocked by the results. This video has single-handedly helped me clear my confusion about drawing hands. Thank you very much, Marco, for this incredible tutorial! 🙏💕
Killer combo of massive knowledge and great teaching with zero ego and meaningless showing off. There are very few artists on youtube like this. Salute.

@@AntMG6819I think they're just saying marc is also good. Although I think point for point, Marco might actually be the best. He's the only one that's made things click in my mind understanding these complex ideas. Others just take for granted their already very experienced eye and that shows in their teaching.
Even in subjects I went through multiple times and using multiple sources, you always manage to find and point out something really useful that wasn't mentioned anywhere

@@sael5084 For example the steps going from boxes to more complicated forms. We usually get boxes, then some boxes added to them and suddenly complicated anatomical structures and it's hard to move there and keep any flow. The way Marco explains it we can learn to draw gestures, keep the flow and then add details, like here by twisting the simple surface that is easy to sketch. This was the missing puzzle I needed :)

@@Lola_in_the_Black I see good thing you figured it out . I need to aswell it's why I've been reading Michael Hampton book on figure drawing which is really good and pressure covering gesture skeleton landmarks anatomy etc. Hopefully we can reach our goals with enough studying :)

14:03 for me the mastervof hands is kohei horikoshi. His ability to draw hands and the fact that he really loves it is just insane to me
My favourite takeaway was the three bends on the inside and the half-finger on the back. That just clicked a lot of things into place for me, thanks!
You know it's gonna be a great video when marco uploads

Yes no need to state the obvious ❤❤
Thank you Marco for being concise, clear, and explaining this information with logic and common sense.😊
You are a pioneer for teaching art way exceeding most art schools could even offer, thank you Marco.
Hands used to be so hard to draw, but now it’s a lot easier to draw them. Thxs sir.
I have never seen such a complete class with photos and very relevant observations, thank you very much for the video.
WAIT THIS IS LIKE HELLA AMAZING OMG HANDS ARE GRIDS
This comes in very handy
The chapter one is a life-saver! ❤❤❤Thank you for joining “flow, rythme “ lessons together with the Level 2 Boxy drawing. Usually youtuber just teach one of those. No wonder why always feeling something is missing
I really appreciate what you're doing here. The breakdown of what exercises to start with really helps visualize each future step. Thank you for all the work you put into these great videos and lessons!
Wow, that video was a gold mine if info! Thank you much! For years I have struggled with the hands in my drawings. I've watched videos on this and some paid videos but not one was able to explain the construction as clearly as you did in this video.
you are the best art educator I ever learned from! A gift to humanity
Thanks SO MUCH for making these awesome videos Marco, you're making a big difference for us newbie artists!!!
thank you for always being so clear in your instruction!! your videos and courses are a treasure trove for artists!
Thank you very much for part 2! I've been struggling with the hands presently and get to the channel to re-watch part 1 and there is the gift of fate (or better to say the gift of Marco?). Very useful tutorial, I've learned a lot and now have to practice :)
This video is absolutely amazing, it's almost like most other hand tutorials on youtube assume you're starting from an advanced position, I love how this one builds up from the simplest way to look at it, thank you.
Marco's observation skills will never stop to amaze me thank you for the video!
you're a life saver, i struggled with drawing hands for ages but this feels like such a breakthrough, i watched and looked up so many tips for drawing hands but this one is by far the easiest to follow and really helped me a lot, thank you!
I'm glad I follow you 😍 these notifications make me feel happyyyyy
this is literally the most useful demo I have EVER seen! I am speechless!!!! IT WAS THIS EASY THE WHOLE TIME!!!
You are by far the best teacher i've come across. Many people don't go into easy explanations on this where is you do.
One of the best art lessons about anatomy on KZread 👍
That first exercise is amazing. I can’t wait to try all of this. Ive never been able to understand hands very well
Thank you for your video on hands really helped me so much. Would you consider doing one on feet please? I find them more tricky than hands actually
This is a phenomenal tutorial. Thank you so much.
Thank youuu sooo muchh for this video!!! Your videos always help a lot!!
Wow! Amazing video. This might be the best instruction on hands that I have ever seen. Although, I admit that I haven't seen your other hands video. I will check that out as well. Thanks so much!
Thanks! This video was very helpful.
dude you explain it so well
I've been watching guys like yourself and Mark Behm and tons of others, for a while. Actually I remember getting a DS not for the games, well maybe some, but your blog on painting on one got me to get one, then the touch came out and now I'm using sketchbook which is a dream come true for portable painting. Just wanted to say hey and tell you that you are a true inspiration, you always seem really genuinely excited and eager to share and teach and cultivate knowledge. I read something the other day that went something like knowing that you don't know opens up a world of the ability to learn knew things. While I love that idea, it doesn't work without mentors, (whether directly or indirectly), like yourself and your fellow colleagues. We're standing on the shoulders of giants. Great stuff; can't wait to watch the video! All the best! Marc.
This is such a fantastic method and explanation ❤
Been struggling with a hand pose for a piece I am working on, this made it much easier

I’m having trouble drawing hands with foreshortening so this is great! Especially getting the gesture right and fluent. I feel like they look kinda woobly and weird. Your videos are helping a lot and I really enjoy watching them
