@@MikeMozzaro well honestly, I kinda feel it in both ways, in one way I don't feel ashamed because there's always room for improvement, in the other, I also feel like a disappointment. One way you can try not to be ashamed is to understand and accept the fact that you may be slower. And it's not just you! There's an artist on yt whos been painting for 40+ years(i think) and still makes mistakes.

What I try to do is match the thickness of the sketch to the lineart, I also I try and make sure my hands aren't shakey, hope this helped

As someone who's been drawing since I could get a pencil and paper, this is really helpful. I really don't like my own art or well struggle to look at it through lenses of someone else -- even though I can see I've semi improved through the years. I learnt some of these things in my art classes through high school - most of these are things I actually didn't even know! Rendering is something I totally skip sometimes and don't even know how to do. So much so I was actually taking notes. Though this is a very good tutorial, or video with tips. :) 💚
