Creationists also would have you believe that since evidence for evolution can only piece together perhaps 300 pieces of a 500-piece puzzle, there is absolutely no way we can reasonably infer what picture the entire puzzle would form if we had the other 200 pieces. We might make a few mistakes trying to fill in the gaps due to a lack of puzzle pieces, but it's a damn sight better than reading a completely unfalsifiable biblical account of human history and assuming everything in that book is 100% true and accurate. The only evidence we have for the bible is the bible and a few odd discoveries that might jive with a few passages from the bible about a very limited number of people, places, and events.

A lot of people don’t realize that animals don’t automatically turn to fossils. The conditions for fossilization are very specific and that’s why we don’t have a more extensive fossil record. You need: 1. Rapid Burial 2. Low Oxygen (Earth had a higher oxygen environment in the past) 3. Hard Parts like bone 4. Sedimentary Rock Formation 5. Lack of Geological Disturbances 6. Chemical Conditions (high PH and the right mineral content)

David also makes a claim that you can trace genetics from monkeys to single cells and you actually cannot always, this is the main claim. Mostly that the dark ages might show something else. This is still during Europa, where all the land was more connected. Its actually a new age belief that (lol bare with me) aliens bred monkeys and made humans. This is apparently why egyptians were giants (google Skeltons of giants found in egypt), big heads. And thats why the egyptians carvings show helicopters and flying fire disks (UFOs?). Now I dont know why religious god fearing Tucker is entertaining this, its normally a Kabbalah Jewish Mysticism thing. This is also found in the Ethiopian bible, which has 60 deleted books removed by the Vatican and other higher authorities from the new and old testament. If anyone is interested in what Tucker is referring to, and being skeptical of Darwin, look into Deloros Cannon alien chronicles or the Ethiopian deleted books of the bible

The trouble is that the Creationists use "adaptation" differently, denying the underlying random variations which make some groups more fit to breed and thus continue in particular (especially changing) circumstances. They will admit that some humans have mutations in their genes which mean they get some disorder or have some ability (e.g. 4 cone types in the eye rather than 3, giving colour perception differences) never seen in the family before, but often deny that this is an aspect of evolution. They do not see antibiotic resistance in bacteria, or new variants of viruses as evidence of evolution in action, they call it "adaptation" as though it isn't random mutations where some prosper and others fail - they effectively imply it is in some sense willed, as though no mutations fail. I find it fruitful to ask them "Can you explain what you mean by adaptation?" They generally have used it as a block - a word removing access to thinking about the process involved - but some talk about methylisation of genes blocking their expression. Knowing what they understand is important. Some have literally no idea of what they mean by "adaptation" beyond "like learning to get along in a new city."
