Bro I remember when I signed up for betterhelp and every time I opened up about my depression and trauma they'd try to guilt me out of it💀 "Imagine if your parents heard this, don't you think you're upsetting them with all of this?" "Do you ever think how that'd make your friends and family feel? Having someone in your life with so many issues is probably very stressful" When I called them out on it they got angry with me so I just canceled. No hate to Danny, I don't at all blame him for accepting the sponsor. I just want to warn you guys to be careful when it comes to betterhelp, that shit genuinely messed me up and from what I gathered I'm not the only one.

I remember the betterhelp controversy from a few years ago and was surprised to see it have a resurgence of sponsorships as of late. Specifically I know that Anthony Padilla does a lot of sponsored videos with them, and so I just assumed they changed their practices and learned from the controversy. A shame to learn that they didn't.

Just a warning about betterhelp: I asked for a trauma therapist (I've since read that that's not necessarily something they help with, even if you can check a box for it) and when I described my issue, the first thing she asked was something along the lines of, "Are you sure it's that big of a deal" and proceeded to send me CBT worksheets. Of course there's bad therapists outside of betterhelp, but I've seen plenty growing up, and they've never victim blamed me lol. Just look out for yourselves, and know therapists aren't always right.

“Very hard to kill” they’re people that are technically already dead, and are now deathless. Liches usually have a kind of tether called a phylactery that binds their “soul” (or similar) to their undead body. Generally a lich with an intact phylactery can’t be killed. I’m not blaming you but the therapists on the app will often take the money and ghost you, be unprofessional, share your personal convos and data, be shady af and not actually be licensed. There’s been a lot of reports of therapists being rude/discriminatory and downplaying peoples trauma.

In Czech we actually have a word for this, it's 'přízemí', and it basically means 'by the ground'. This leaves the 1st floor to be the floor above. To be fair to danny though, I was 14 when I learned other countries use first floor for ground floor, and it was only because of R6S

This is a common thing in several Asian countries as well. So this app, and probably every other one Danny tries here, were likely produced by either asian and/or European companies that make their livings pumping out as many cheaply made apps as possible, which they then stuff so full of advertisements they often become almost entirely unplayable unless you pay to remove them. Sometimes you can guess what country the game was made in just by the specific grammatical errors made in English, if you have an idea of how their native grammatical structures work.

As a mom, I can confirm that the mommy simulator is very accurate. The cooking challenge is so realistic! The one NPC I always see outside is named Phil. He's harmless, don't worry.

Vouch for other Gregs speaking out against Better Help. They are without the careful legal restrictions of an actual registered therapist and can therefore share your information (not bound by medical privacy). They also don't have professional trauma therapists despite pretending that they do. It's really dark. I hope Danny sees these comments and reconsiders this sponsorship, so that he doesn't encourage young, unaware, or otherwise vulnerable fans to use this sketchy app.

I think a lot of ppl are just not aware of the issues with better help, I've seen a lot of KZreadrs sponsored by them too and never really thought anything of it. I only found out that they're sketchy from the comments now, probably along with a lot of other viewers

I have played virtual boyfriend simulator after looking at this video and I can tell you that it's only gone downhill. The AI is terrible and only seems to want to talk about your birthday . You tell him it's not your birthday, he says it's his birthday and then keeps talking about his birthday no matter what you send.

Hey Danny just a heads up, better help has really bad reviews and many of the complains is that the therapist has no availability and it's like talking to an automated message and asking for a refund is a pain in the ass unless you threaten to report them, open path is much better since you actually get a real therapist

So I actually use BetterHelp and it's absolutely saved my life. I video chat my therapist (who is licensed) every week and she's absolutely changed my life. Once, my therapist was away for a month for surgery, I emailed support, and I got a refund within a few hours. I really hate that others have had poor experiences but I'm personally genuinely so grateful for it. Just wanted to share my experience.

When I cancelled THEN the service told me there was a cheaper option they could give me… well too little too late, I swore off Betterhelp. I’ve already had bad experiences in therapy, I didn’t need more when I couldn’t even talk to the therapist. Yeah you can switch therapists but the one I had sounded good in theory, and I was afraid I’d lose contact. It’s a weird service and I don’t like it

Either give evidence and information on your claims or shut the fuck up. Therapy should be accessible to all people, and obviously the cheaper stuff is going to be shittier, but it's better than nothing. So unless they've like, idk, advocated for ethnic cleansing or conversion therapy, do not pretend like you're some kind of activist. Virtue-signaling has helped nobody.

Literally just scroll my dude lol Get your money, but everyone here should know that Better Help's user agreement circumvents your HIPPA rights, does not guarantee your privacy, will share your medications, medical history, and app usage as they see fit. They also restrict therapist's ability to interact (with things like word count limits for chats), and don't pay them a fair wage. Especially as we teeter on the right to medical privacy, be careful out there.

We do the floor thing like that in Germany lol. The 1st floor is the "ergeschoss" or "groundfloor" for us. All above go from 1st to whatever.

My wife tried better help. It’s not better. Nor is it helpful. Her “therapist” kept telling her she was “doing great” or “making amazing progress” but literally didn’t suggest anything helpful. This was her 3rd or 4th “therapist” that she’d tried. The one before that told her she’d never be happy at work and will never find a job she enjoys. It’s not a useful service

I've used it before and none of the therapists I tried were helpful, one in particular was definitely not qualified to be treating my specific issues, she was technically an "art therapist" or something like that. This company also does not treat its therapists well, Mickey Atkins did a video going very in depth on all Betterhelp's issues and I highly recommend watching it, she explains everything super well and is a therapist herself too so she has a lot of valuable perspectives on why and how this service is harmful

Bacon Cat, I mean I guess, considering they say in their terms of service that they don’t vet any of their therapists or mental health experts. And it’s up to the user to research and verify any therapist before starting a session. Which is something I found out today. If that’s not a scammy thing to do then I don’t know what is. I heard therapy and all I could think was don’t be betterhelp don’t be betterhelp but alas. I see other comments about people’s experiences but from my own time with them, I got scammed twice. What I mean by that is my counselor literally ghosting me and betterhelp not switching me to a new one and also continuing to charge me an obscene amount of money weekly for talking to … no one. I hope that internet personalities start to take these comments and negative experiences with Betterhelp seriously because I know that being mentally ill sucks, but being scammed while also mentally ill is criminal in my mind. Hope that Danny can maybe hear this feedback ❤️

I feel like Danny didn't linger on the creepiness of that virtual boyfriend app enough - which is fair enough since it's just meant to be a funny video, but... If that was a real person, which it has to have been because theres no reason for an AI to misspell a made up word it was copying from you, then that means that the responsibility of chatting to an audience of little girls lies in the hands of a likely unethical business. If a little kid thinks she's talking to a fake boyfriend in a game, it would be so easy to just tell her "You're cute, where do you live?" or ask for private details. Especially with how willing the "AI" was to say some "vulgarity". In fact in that very sentence it mistyped again putting that random ) in the middle of it. There was even instances of the virtual boyfriend saying things like "I should move closer to you" and that kind of thing, which could easily bait a naive child into saying where they live. Seems weird to me! Seems suspicious and dubious!

For the "1st floor" "2nd floor" thing in the Granny game, in many countries including mine, the first floor is called "Ground Floor" and once you go one floor up, there the first floor starts. It really got my confused when I went to USA. Things about USA you wouldn't find out till u'd actually go there. Another thing was, Americans don't use 24 hour system and literally don't understand if you'd say things like "I'll come there at 19:00"

For anyone wondering, the main floor/second floor thing is a Spanish thing, in many Spanish speaking countries they say la planta baja to mean the main floor(first floor) and say el primer piso to mean the second floor, this was probably just translated from Spanish to English and the devs just didn’t know in English things were different.

I know enough people have talked about BH, but I just wanted to share my experience. I hated the fact that they wouldn't let you access your final session unless you paid for the next month. For example, I was on a plan for 4 sessions a month, and they wouldn't allow me to speak to my therapist for a 4th session unless I paid for another 4 sessions for next month. I thought it was incredibly manipulative, because I should get the entire service I paid for regardless of whether I renew or not. I didn't end up taking a 4th session because I didn't gel well with my therapist and didn't want to pay another $200-ish dollars just to say "bye". I've found another therapist from an organisation in India and doing much better but yeah. Beware of Better Help! Regardless, I love Danny and always part of Greg

Danny doesn’t understand. Bad Granny is possibly one of the greatest games out there today. By subverting your expectations and making you question your morality in the game. There is no good or bad, and this game makes you confront the grey area. As the player you assume that you, as a protagonist, should be the “good guy.” But this game breaks barriers and shows that there is no true good. Just like in real life. And my grandma beats me as well.

The eye shape is PERFECT for Shadow- serious, but also calm in a way. Danny, in most European countries, the floor is called main floor and first floor. I live in Norway in Trondheim.

Some Brit has probably already told you this, but that is conventional floor naming in the UK. Ground/main floor and First floor (1st and 2nd) I guess the logic is like, it's the same level as the ground and then it's the first floor above the ground. And then it makes more sense if you bring in B1, B2 etc. underneath the ground floor. So ground is essentially 0 Then B1, B2 etc is -1 and -2 and 1 and 2 are 1 and 2

The fact that I though Danny was sitting in front of a green screen until the dog walked up and sniffed him I- Truly terrifying. Also didn’t know Danny ever left his room to film videos.

I already have a therapist but it’s always so important to look at the comments, I would’ve never known there were scandals about BetterHelp had I not looked at the comments. Think about all of Danny’s fans who don’t look at the comments and just do as he says.. your platform is so important Danny, I wouldn’t associate with anyone who has controversies, and I don’t blame you for not knowing because I didn’t either.. hope you read the comments!

Actually, you should blame him. As a KZreadr of his size and with the platform he has, he should know to do thorough research before accepting a sponsorship, ESPECIALLY if the corporation has had prior public backlash. Maybe he didn’t know or forgot, but that’s not a good enough excuse.

you should blame him actually, I usually don't read the comments and Im pretty sure at least half the viewers did not too, with a platform this big comes responsability, Im not hating on Danny, mistakes happen all the time, Im just saying we have the right to blame him for not doing enough research

I'm so glad that people in this comment section brought the bad part of betterhelp to light. I was considering it since i seen it in another video and my transportation options are limited. Y'all saved me some $$ 😭

most places 0 index the floors so it makes sense to call the "second" floor tge first one

to be fair, in other languages you say the ‘ground floor’ as the first floor, then ‘first floor ‘ as the second floor, so on and so forth. i know spanish does that, so maybe the granny game was translated from a certain language (or at least the most logical outcome possibile).
