Hopefully you feel better today. Sorry for your loss. It does make it harder when the anniversary is on a holiday. My worst day some years is my birthday because my Dad and I shared that birth day. He's been gone over 30 years and it's still hard .

Trunk or treat has been happening here in the outback of Arizona for a long time. Mostly because there are only 5 or 6 houses on a long dirt road. There are thousands of houses, but it would be really hard to get around to enough houses In a night to be worth the effort. So a bunch of folks all get together in a parking lot and parents bring their kids to the lot to make it easier to trick or treat. 🎃🎉🌵🌵

I have bigger dogs too and was wondering the same lol. Sadly I don’t think it would be nearly as effective as it is with little dogs with short legs; they’re so close to the ground that it looks super realistic as they scuttle across the floor! 😂

"Trunk or treat" was done for my son's marching band when they played on Halloween night very late, us parents set it up so they could grab some candy.

On Halloween, we used to go Trick or Drink to our neighbors houses. Most of us staggered home.

The Spider Dogs was a riot. I laughed and laughed.😊

I've heard a lot of barking spiders in my time but I've never seen one. 😉

Military Family here, the trunk or treat is very common on installations. Its how the community trick or treats in a central location, its always a popular event and the kids have a blast.
