From the opening bit... If you're actually using a massive stand mixer and a countertop full of crap just to make guacamole, it's time to re-evaluate your life choices and think about exactly where it was that everything started to go so badly off the rails for you. This is a task that can easily be handled with a small bowl and a fork, or if you're really ambitious, a potato masher.
