I hope the Golden Bachelor/Bachelorette becomes a regular show. These older women were more real than any of the younger bachelorettes have ever been, and they truly cared for each other. There was a camaraderie that we don't see with the younger set.

Roseanne did a lot of good once (and being "annoying and disgusting" was part of it; she made that an okay thing for women to be, as opposed to it being solely the domain of men). Hers is still one of only a handful of shows in American history that depicted a family actually living a lifestyle commensurate to the incomes of the stated jobs of the breadwinners. Think about how sick that is; nearly 100 years of American television, and only a very few shows have had the guts to depict the reality of American life, and not some fantasy land where American poverty isn't wished into the cornfield. As to what happened to her, it's the same thing that happened to Frank Miller or Dennis Miller or Craig T. Nelson or any other bitter older person; they got lazy and began to indulge the bigotry that told them that their success was entirely due to talent and not at all to privilege. Once you let yourself start to slide into that fascist reality-denying mindset, you don't tend to turn-back. On the contrary; you tend to accelerate exponentially.

Priests for sure VTP. I saw it first- hand, (the fall out, not the actual abuses) having worked for a large catholic archdiocese. Priests were routinely transferred, or even hidden from law enforcement when charged or confronted. Massive pay offs, pay-outs, "settlements" by the church cost them 100's of MILLION $. Drag queens are largely harmless.

I loved Rosanne (the show, at least) when I was a kid. There is tons of excellent stuff in that show. It's a shame that Roseanne has let resentment and hate poison her and her legacy.

I stained a few pieces with that same color last year and thought they came out too dark.
