There are a few factors that come into play. First it’s important to know how far to attach the board in front of the bait. The farther the crankbait is behind the board dictates how deep the crankbait will go. Also speed is critical. I like to run just fast enough for the bait to feather along behind the board, dig and get maximum traction pulling down. Thanks for the question.

Yes you can. If you use a glow stick it will stick in the foam and self heal when you pull it out. Small plastic types will work also.
