Glad they brought in a New Orleans musician to play a jazz standard, even if it's shown in a popular light. One great aspect of pop music is that it can make less accessible or "outdated" music more accessible to wider audiences. The thing with Troy Andrews (Trombone Shorty) is that many would actually consider him a legitimate jazz musician, despite the several genres he crosses over into. Versatile cat

I read trombone shorty book to my class(kindergarten) and also play this video to them. At the end of the video, the kids just can’t help but clapping their hands! Some came to me said “this is awesome “. Thank you Trombone shorty! The kids were having a great time enjoying your music!
