The only other country that I could think of that would be more jolly in their reaction would be the Philippines, even then, they wouldn't start howling like cats in heat.

I find it quite interesting the cultural difference of the audience compared to say...north American audience. Clearly they were enjoying the performance as they were all watching it very intently but there were few smiles and the clapping and cheering at the end were rather subdued. Is the culture more about being reserved and dignified when observing a fine performance? Quite interesting.

What you said may be right, but I also think that it was because most of the audience hadn't heard the song before. I'd say this piece is only well known among a certain community of the youngsters. If it were Despacito, for instance, the reaction would be very different.

I find it hard to believe, given that Pirates was a worldwide hit, that these people don't recognize the tune. They aren't living in a 3rd world country here. My 80 year old parents know the pirate's theme for goodness sake, they have grandkids that have made them watch pirates multiple times. lol

Man cant believe no one is even recognizing the tune!!! Woudl think someone would be getting in to the song but everyone standing all stony faced. I mean Pirates of the Caribbean!! Legend!! Iconic song too!! They all musta been living under a rock.

Love this...and in this arrangement its even more obvious that the same hook was used for the opening battle in Gladiator ... another awesome masterpiece

The build up was everything ...the. Stages of increased instruments was Extraordinary. I really enjoy listening to it

This has a longer build-up than Lonely Island's When Will the Bass Drop -- and the payoff is even more satisfying.

My great grand father was a unreal violin player he played a lot of old western music stuff that would make you start to dance even if you don't dance I wish I was able to get one and learn from him before he passed away

You know what this is superb wonderful team work they need appreciation
