That's a Palm Warbler at 27 seconds, migrating north! Great video, great information. Thanks!
Great job and Maggie was awesome on the rods. Crankin hard when they are running at you. The passion and excitement comes through in your voice and expression. Very cool you showed the Coast Guard inspection!

We can’t wait to get out on the big lake again this summer! Such an exciting way to fish
Nice work. I just bought a boat and plan on coming up to do some late summer salmon jiggin up there. Thinking of investing in trolling gear next year. I like following your videos keep em coming.
Great fish can't wait to get back there nothing fights like a king
Awesome job Kyle. I sure miss the days when we lived close to each other in fife and fished all the time. Gonna try and get out with you this year. I opened my own business though and it's super busy but we'll see. Tight lines Dan
The way you 2 team up us amazing, love the excitement from both of you. This is how anglers should interact with their S.O. I hate when people refuse to fish with theirs because they have to have a screaming match. Great video!!
Nice limit a good day of fishing 👍
I like how you push her out of the way for the strike. That she still talks to you is amazing. My girl loves to fish and is real sensitive to position. Great fishing love the enthusiasm

Great video!!! Can’t wait. What port were you fishing?
Wawww strike berturut turut....keren, 👍👍👍😍😍
Nice man! Do you run a jet drive and fish out of Platte Bay sometimes?
Do you usually only use spoons in the spring ? Great video , watch many times . You two always make it fun .

I like them all summer!
What are they looking for on the lifejackets and the throw ring?
How do you make your diver slide when you catch the fish? How long is the leader on your diver?
what port is this out of? great job btw!
How much line do you let out past the lead core or wire?
These are great videos. I'm curious... you mess with your drag the whole time you are fighting fish. I've never seen this before. What's the strategy?
@AdventureChasing
2 жыл бұрын
We will just go by the feel of the fight. If it feels like the line is straining when the fish goes on a run, we loosen the drag. If it feels too loose when we are reeling in, we tighten it. It just helps us lose less fish
Do they ever push up in 15-20ft of water in the spring?
What port did you fish out of??
What kind of roller rods do you use?
How do you make sure the weather and waves are safe for this type of fishing boat? What are you recommendations as far as maximum waves and swells for a boat like that? I'm hurting to get my 16 ft aluminum Lund boat out there, but intimidated as to what the boat can handle in Lake Michigan.
@AdventureChasing

If the wind forecast is more than 5-10mph I won’t travel offshore. If it’s calm then I go out and as soon as it starts to get rough I don’t push my luck and head back in👍 I wouldn’t be out there in this boat in more than 2-3’ waves
Try using copper, less line, and the line goes deeper
Kyle. Thanks for the video. Can you please tell me what kind of boat is that? I'm in yhe market for one.

18ft Stealthcraft jet sled. More for the river than the lake but they make lake boats too!
What port were you out of?
I notice that you run a lot of line from your dipsy to your lure. Is there a reason why you run so much line? I’m pretty new to this and absolutely love the sport.
@AdventureChasing

We like to run mono leader instead of a snubber because it seems to help land more fish. We run it long so there is more stretch in the line and a stealthier presentation!
What rods and reels are you running? Do I see Okuma Coldwaters?
@AdventureChasing
3 жыл бұрын
Hey Scott! We use a variety of different rods and reels for boards vs. divers vs. riggers. Yes, we do like Okuma Coldwater reels!
630... from CHANNEL MANJAR.. jozz master...👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍
They sure were there for long were they
What pound test do you use. Is that braided line.
@AdventureChasing

The braided line is 50lb
5 on the Coast Guard boat. Government at its finest.

What is your point, potatohead? I fish out there too and I'm happy to see them every time. Too much Govt? Maybe so but when you're 5 miles from shore and the boat starts taking water you probably won't be complaining if they have too many Coasties on board.

How do these freshwater salmon taste compared to the pacific kings?
@AdventureChasing
3 жыл бұрын
They’re definitely good table fair but pacific salmon are a notch above them that’s for sure.
What's the limit ?
Why do you mess with the drag so much? I have never seen that before. Must be barbed hooks to allow them that much free spool. Nice fish by the way
@AdventureChasing
3 жыл бұрын
Salmon make fast hard runs and I like to use 17lb test leaders. Seem to get more bites with lighter line. When you’re trolling long lines that are heavy (lead core and copper) and you have a planner board attached (especially when there are waves) if your drag isn’t set perfect when a salmon goes on a hard run you’ll snap them off. So I always like to make sure my drag doesn’t stick.

@@AdventureChasing I use 20lb main attached to 1/2 to 4ounces of weight ,then a flasher with 20lb leader and a double herring rig and don’t usually bust them off they usually toss the barbless hook lol. We also don’t use planer boards unLess on the Columbia River where there is enough room. Thank you for the response and fish on
What kind of boat do you run I like it
