wow where is that? I was at the Hanford reach in WA state yesterday and we were anchored and also half the time fishing the current and also trolling. caught 2 each method saw a boat doing that jigging floating down steam and then going back up fishing the slot. limited out quick so this is why im here. I'm going to try this. what's the best jig? what pound test is your main line? fish are about same as that one you caught. 18-30 lbs. some top to 40 have been caught. what pound leader is that? I'll go to that sight you posted to purchase a few jigs.

This works everywhere that salmon are, coho tend to eat even better than the kings. But, ideally you want fresh fish. Maybe a bit late for this year but may still be doable. I gave had great luck especially in PM lake. I drive until I find a pile of fish, If you have any sort of electronics they're easy to find. If not find a pack of boats or look for fish jumping and rolling around. Don't forget some deep diving thundersticks... they don't always want the jig. I hope this helps, good luck brother
