This is a very rare and unique report for many reason: flying on a very rare airline in Africa on a very rare and ancient aircraft nowadays, which is B732. Also flying with the president of Zimbabwe on this flight. You are so lucky, and I appreciate your efforts to make reports about not very popular carriers in the world 😁❤️

Among all the travel channels on KZread, this is the best. This channel has not become a sell out like other channels. It also focuses less on the high-cost airlines and first class seats and it gives us a better insight into what the airline is really like for common travellers. I really appreciate the effort and dedication went into this channel. Keep it up.

I remember seeing it many years ago on a Ryanair flight, it was my first flight ever.
That old plane brings back a lot of memories. My first commercial jet flight was on a 737-200. Check out the legroom!
This is by far the best trip reports channel on youtube, unlike so many that only flies with already know carriers and only on executive/first... this is the real experience most people would get! I love those less know airlines! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Brazil! 🇧🇷
I’m so glad that the purser managed not let the excitement get the better of him while addressing the Acting President of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The struggle to keep his composure was palpable in his voice. Delighted to see that both Felix and “comrade” Acting P. landed safely in that ancient flying bucket.
Going through your old videos Felix and found this one. I had my first flight on a 737-200 by a one month old airline called Southwest. They only had 3 737k-200 at the time and 4 airports, Dallas Love, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. This brought back fond memories.
Wow, i'm surprise you fly with air zimbabwe, you are so excellent, keep a good work, and fly with regional airlines, You are the best aircraft traveling youtuber ☺☺☺😉😉😊😊

Your Shona comment at the end ❤️, thank you for visiting Zimbabwe!!!! Tatenda!!!
There's a bit of confusion here. Felix may have mistakenly thought he was flying with the president of Zimbabwe. 4:14 and 9:21 and other announcements on this clip clearly state it is the acting president on board and not the actual president of the country. At the time this flight was taken the president was out of the country. Kembo Mohadi is the current vice president of Zimbabwe. Other than that little error, this is a fantastic trip report. Thanks for it and keep it up!

Wonderful to see a trip report on one of these first 737s
Caraca... Esse é o famoso Breguinha, quando o 737-200 voava na Vasp (Brasil).
Loved the Video and the last bit of Shona at the end. Thats actually the first aircraft I ever flew on!
This is a report on a rather unique flight (as enumerated in other comments). I'm especially impressed with the age of the plane!
Que avião clássico..aqui no Brasil foi operado pela antigas e extintas VASP e VARIG🤓

Oh my, one of my favorite classic planes still flying on Air Zimbabwe. I'd like to ride that for myself :D
It's nice to see a 737-200 flying in a good shape. The 737-200 at my school (roc hoofddorp) isn't in a really good shape anymore and will unfortually never fly again. But the plane is still good for students who can practice and learn the maintenance on it. Nice video you made!!
Que sonho voar em uma raridade desta, queria muito!

Tripreport great work. I love all your adventures.
This report was amazing felix!! This airplane is so rare.. but it looks so good. And the president was onboard!! This is amazing thank you!!
-200 is such beautiful variant. The silver coat and those sick reverses are so awesome, though I rather ride on the future Boeing 1 billion.
Wow 737-200! You are soooo lucky
Wow, 737-200 .. reminds me of my youth around Europe. The 200 had a better wingtip than the 100 I recall, looked more modern with the light housing. The JT8D is a proper jet engine too, not one of the bloody great fan blade jobs and the reverse thrust is brilliant to watch. I went to Madeira in the 80's on one before the runway was extended and they really used it to the max. The captain even said before landing it would be so, just so we were aware. And then you got the President of Zimbabwe on too ! Shame you could not go up and ask him what he thought of the Chompkins potato crisps. Me sitting next to Miss Kenya on a BA flight back from there in economy cannot be beaten though .... ;) This flight review ticks all the boxes for me ! 10 out of 10

And there were two different types of wings for the 737-200s. Those produced until 1971 or so had different wings. That was when Boeing made changes to the 737-200's wings (among other things) to improve its performance in hot and high airports and those with shorter runways. From then on, it was called the 737-200 Advanced and it became standard.

I love the way the cabin crew deliver his messages; very good speed and clear. Hopefully isn't caused by the presence of president and senior officials on board 😁👍🏻

That was amazing thank you, the take off was so graceful! Funny thing is I've probably flown in that very plane when it was newer to Air Zim, in the mid 90's. Although I now live in Cape Town, I used to often fly btw Harare & Bulawayo when I lived there. Thank you for bring back such wonderful memories.

Great video as always :)
I remember flying on a 732 EWR-SYR back in '83. No overhead bins. US Air (RIP). FWIW: Salisbury, Rhodesia, now Harare, Zimbabwe, at one time boasted the world's longest runway at 14,000+ feet. While in the US Air Force back in 1970, a number of us were alerted for possible short-notice deployment worldwide; scuttlebutt had it that one of the likely destinations was Rhodesia (among several others). The call never came, we never learned what it was all about, and those of us who were already alerted for Vietnam went there.
Fantasic video of this rare airliner! Thank you for sharing with us! =D
