I flew Air Mauritania in the early 80s. They had 3 planes, all Fokker F27s. One landed in the ocean, one landed upside down and I was flying on the 3rd ! Really gives you confidence... I am glad things have improved since then.

Very nice to see someone doing a report on Mauritania airlines. I had many bad experiences but that was before 2010. From what I see in your video, things have changed and I am excited to go back using Mauritanian Airlines. I live in Nouakchott so not many airlines. Great job BTW
I remembered the great times I had way back in 1974-75 flying from Nairobi, Kenya to Lusaka, Zambia!
How enjoyable to see a simple review with beautiful cityscapes, interesting simple airports and a small airline obviously really putting the investment in. Thank you, please keep these little known airline reviews coming.
In 1965 I was in Conakry. Well, things have changed. Very nice video.
I Love Simply Aviation Thank You Mr. Felix And Mr. David Thank you for posting these flight reports for all thies years.

Great Video! I liked learning about this airline and the landing and takeoff views were just STUNNING!!
Love your trip reports, thank you for all !
United does something similar a few times a week, called “Island Hopper” which is a flight from Honolulu to Guam via several tiny islands in the Pacific (e.g. Pohnpei and Chuuk). Whilst unusual, it is a lifesaver for those that live in the islands that the Hopper serves, as it carries post and essential cargo, as well as passengers.
This was a great video😀 Thank you so much Felix😄😄
Amazing video!!! Finally the tripreport for 737 max came out!!!!
Reading the title you can also imagine it would be a bus plan (apart from the distances) :) Really nice trip report. Always interesting also after some years.
Really impressive they have the Boeing 737 MAX for an airline that has a really small fleet. Reminds me of when I was in Mauritania in 2008 and I had no way to really leave Nouakchott and had to make my way to Dakar to catch a flight home. Great trip report as always.

Love the 737Max, love simply aviation!
Hi Felix, this is my first time commenting on your channel. I not only followed this journey on Insta but I also did it myself several years ago and have all sorts of memories being on the ground in Guinea and West Africa as a whole. I loved this vlog! Keep it up, thanks for your work TR'ing ;). Andy

Yall are so extra bro, yall acting like mans was gonna die, calm down, right now it has gotten so fixed and tested that the 737 MAX is probably the safest plane in the sky, i mean, yeah i get that this is before the grounding so i understand your comment.

i love long haul flights forever! never get bored em.
So rare to see multi sector flights like this nowadays! Reminds me of my first ever flight in 1983. A Gulf Air Tristar from Heathrow-Bahrain-Muscat-Bombay and the return was Bombay-AbuDhabi-Doha-Paris CDG-Heathrow
That's what I call a full day of flying! great report, Felix.
I loved ur tripreports!
Great video as always, these were some off beaten places to visit, places I have never heard off except Dakar and Casablanca.
Wow, what a brilliant video.
Finally a new flight. I waiting for this ♥️
Jesus... That must be a hell of a tiring trip!! Great vídeo, as always :)

Amazing trip report from the 737 max
What an awesome trip report! Very unusual to fly 4 flights in the same plane and more over stay on board the plane while in the ground.

This was excellent!! Great video, you guys truly capture what flying is about, traveling on west coast of africa, excellent!! Goed gedoen 🇿🇦👌

As a Mauritania, I can confirm that the Boeing 737 MAX 8 is flying from Conakry to Casablanca with stopover Nouakchott, and Nouadhibou
