TRIP CANCELLED!! BOATERS IGNORE WARNING AND PAY THE PRICE AT HAULOVER INLET | BOAT ZONE

Ойын-сауық

Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

I have tried. I have a close person who is in the same marina and told him about our interest in meeting him. Our friend asked if he had seen the videos over the years. The gentleman doesn't use social media; he says he always found the cameras at the inlet intriguing. However, he never looks or waves at the cameras, and I don't think he has the slightest interest. He agreed to let us ask him questions through my friend, but I believe it wouldn't be the same. A man from another era, without a doubt.

I found your channel about a month ago, as an American who's lived in Italy for decades, and I have to say that I never would've imagined becoming hooked on these videos! You're an amazing videographer and the videos are really enjoyable! Thanks very much!! 🙂🙋🏻‍♀️ PS - my only exposure to boats was as an 8 - 11 year old little girl whose best friend and I would "steal" her parents powerful boat and ride around on Mobile Bay in Alabama. My best friend was FEARLESS and knew how to operate that boat at the age of 8!! 😂 True story!

I grew up here driving and riding boats almost everyday through haulover in the late 70's and throughout the 80's. It was paradise, few vessels and no idiotic jet skiers cutting in front of rapidly moving large vessels. At the time I did not realize this was rougher than most inlets as it was all I knew. I am utterly astonished by the lack of seamanship by so many who have spent small fortunes on some of the finest modern vessels. Who in their right mind allows their children to ride in a boat without a lifejacket on not to mention up front in an open bow/bowrider? I guess the mix of incredible boats, beautiful women and the amazing abundance of stupidity is why you have so many subscribers. Keep up the great work and hopefully, some of these so called "captains" will see themselves on your channel and seek more training.

At 1:06 What is that in the water? It's brown about 30 feet long. I thought I saw a fin? i'm not familiar with your water. And that boat barely missed it. It was huge. And it looks solid it wasn't a group of fish. You're the talk of the town all the weird stuff florida.. Ok, it didn't look like a whale either. And had a really reddish color was it a sea monster?

Seriously, how hard is it to listen to the boating report and look out the inlet an see all the white caps and know its gonna be a rough day if you continue! But then again , in florida the boating IQ is not that high, all the skippers here see land and its full speed ahead, run her aground and lets have a beer! Smfh!
