Finally somebody who ran them both together side by side. Be nice too see them on a track since a lot of local tracks are running 4-tec stock classes which sound pretty fun

Great review and comparison. Thank you for this video. Until this I didn't really know the differences about the two. Part of me still wants the 3.0 too. Maybe that will happen one day soon : ) I just bought the 2.0 with the Ford GT body. Looking forward to when it arrives.

My second 2.0 is on the way I got a traxxas gift card for Christmas I love the 4tec 2.0 mines got a 99’ Silverado body that matches my real truck

LOL😅😂🤣 That was like watching one of those drinking and driving videos. After 1 drink, you see the driver of the Orange Car has slightly altered steering reactions. After 4 drinks, you see the driver of the Red Car has severely altered steering reactions. ,,,,,,, Don't Drink and Drive,,,,,, 🤕😉

Excuse me, I also have a 4tec 2.0, how do I turn on the tsm, because I pick up the car and swing it left and right, the wheels will not move left and right.

Only the Ford GT version comes with TSM. If that's the one you have, there should be two small knobs on the transmitter. The one on the right controls the level of TSM. Turn it all the way to the right for maximum, and all the way left to turn it off.

You need the brushless version to have the TSM

So would you recommend the 2.0 for drifting?

Yep, it would make a pretty good AWD drift car. Traxxas even sells drift tires specifically for it.

@@bchobbies does the 3.0 also have drift tires? ( just asking because I like the c8 but want more custom options) Also do you think the traxxas summit is good or would the max be better? I’m stuck on if I want another monster or try drift/road rc

@@CRno25 You can put the same drift tires on the 3.0, but they'll look a bit small. I don't think they make any drift tires in the same size as the stock 3.0 wheels. As for monster trucks, I would recommend the Maxx. The Summit is more of a "jack of all trades" vehicle - part crawler, part basher. It's not particularly fast compared to most R/C vehicles. It's also based on the E-Revo chassis, which is a pretty old design and kind of a pain to work on. It's definitely a cool truck, and very unique, but it's a very different vehicle from the Maxx and other straight-up bashers.

With the brushed motor, it doesn't really need it. Presumably they will offer a brushless version with TSM at some point in the future.

@@elijahanderson4525 Brushed vs brushless refers to the motors. Brushed are slower, cheaper, and run cooler than brushless motors.
