The 3.0 with the Corvette and Supra would be a fun spec class

its not the only toyota liscencing because i think it was back in 2011 traxxas released the 1/16 kyle busch race truck which was a toyota tacoma

When A huge brand like Traxxas has an RC I didn't know about It's like learning a secret when you see it! Love it!!!! Also would love to see some Mustang content... The poor thing looks so lonely in the garage!

@@MarkSantaMaria will the 2.0 suspension arms fit the 3.0? I literally got this car 2 days ago, threw some drift wheels on it. I talked to traxxas and asked them if they had aluminum suspension arms for it they said they do but i couldnt find them. If i can throw those 2.0s on I certainly will because those are easier to find.

am i the only one who want traxxas to make a 4-tec challenger, and even if were are lucky, a hellcat or even a demon??? Also, love the content man, and always have. the haters just have no life and got fired from being discord mods.

@@MarkSantaMaria yeah, but its not traxxas, and traxxas best. i mean I like other brands but like you have said many times before, here in America upgrades and oem parts for Traxxas are widely available and are pretty cheap, plus their like warrentys are pretty dope.

They should defo do another Toyota collab and make a TRX4 Hilux

If you put the vxl system in this supra with 3s, I think you can draft on the road.

The one thing that bothers me about the traxxas on road stuff is it never matches "standard" platforms, making aftermarket bodies hit or miss when it comes to fitment.

Agreed! And now with the body clip design it just seems like they're absolutely trying to force everyone to only be able to use traxxas proprietary things with their cars.

Man I be sitting here running a 2.0 with upgrades for carpet racing and from experience the 3.0 is two long but this thing looks like it will hand way better on the track definitely thinking about getting my hands on one of these to give it a run on the track might put a review out there for HobbyTown in Oshkosh Wisconsin

Not a big Supra fan, but I really dig the 4Tec! 👍 It would be even sweeter if Traxxas had more licensed bodies to fit. Heck even if they weren't licensed, it would be cool to change them out. But we know Traxxas, they'll make a deal 😁

my brushless hot rod truck is awesome. with the stock tires, very sketchy, not enough grip. with 2.55" tires, much better stability and grip. needs a gyro for speed though. i have a gt5 with gyro in my hot rod truck with a 3900 kv motor and hobbywing esc. it is AMAZING once i got the suspension tightened up with upgraded upper arms! im just waiting for the supra tires to come back in stock and i will get them for my hot rod.

I have the hot rod. Gotta add this one to the collection

Just got into the Hobby about a year ago have a Traxxas stampede brushless and I have a Traxxas Revo 3.3 nitro both upgraded wish I could get a racing ebuggy for the track have to wait for Christmas is around the corner and then i want to try and get a team associated buggy I’m addicted and love this hobby. you’re awesome love this channel! Wish I had a quarter of your collection really want to get that E buggy for the track soon

Thanks for early look at the new car. The body is very cool. I would like to know the logic for so many different wheel bases. The 4tec 2.0 is a great spec car, especially the 4Tec 2.0 without the body. It's cheaper. It's a great starter touring car and a spec car. You can choose your own body. We ran with our school club and they held up well. We ran on the grey ozite which meant different tires. The students could use their stock tires outside.

He told you the logic of different wheelbases - to conform to the fact that all cars have different wheelbases and to keep the sale looks, you need different wheelbases for different body styles. This is very particular for OFFICIALLY LICENSED bodies where the manufacturer of the full scale would demand an accurate representation of the looks of a car if they want it certified. Unlicensed bodies like all the ugly drag cars don't have to worry about wrong wheelbases and wrong track widths.

RC is almost dare I say, a side hustle for them, a way to make their static model come alive. Comparing the scale details between their static models versus their RC models is like comparing a mannequin in a storefront which has a functional purpose versus the statue of David by Leonardo Da Vinci.

@@toolbaggers If RC was just a side hustle for Tamiya I don't think they would pay the fees necessary to issue RC bodies. Their RC bodies are very detailed and they demand a high price for them. Their bodies are accurate representations of the real cars.

The power looks plenty in fairness.With scale bodies like this it’s not about speed, its about the driving experience, the handling and the smoothness. Speed ain’t everything.

What kind of brushless do you think would be comparable to the brushed setups? 13.5, 17.5, etc...?

After running your RC cars do you store them back in the original boxes to keep from getting dusty?

Sure traxxas release this a month after i get the stingray. but wtf different size again?? So is the front and rear sections the same for each car?? and you just need to get the center chassis?? I would like to see you verify that ty
