Let it never be said that Kara and Nate don't try their darndest to see the best in every situation. They're way too nice to ever say it, but it looks like Cuba has been a pretty rough trip, to put it mildly. At least the residents are pleasant and the pizza is good.

@@joannedevine2141 Except that atleast in my experience cubas viazul busses have their restrooms locked, theyre not in use. I recommend not having diarrea in viazul

AGREED! This made us want to go to Cuba so badly. Hopefully 2019 is the year we go :)

Two things: First, your bravery amazes me. Second, I think "spontaneous" tours during transportation are a South/Central American staple. My limit of bravery is booking my own excursions when we cruise. Twice now (once in Mexico and once in Belize), our van has just suddenly pulled over at some janky distillery to try to sell us booze. We thought we were being kidnapped. Fortunately, both times, the driver spoke enough English to explain that we were stopping "for a tour." :-)

I encourage more Americans to visit Havana Cuba, it’s simply amazing.

Ahhh yes. We have started posting at 7 a.m. PST (Los Angeles time) because it seems that's when the majority of our audience is awake! Maybe we should make it a bit earlier for the Aussies ;)

I just got back to Canada from a 1 month trip in Cuba! Saw this video in my recommendations 😀 Tip: find out how much the viazul bus trip costs and then negotiate with the taxi driver, the ones I went with usually only charge 2-5 CUC above the bus price. Yes, most likely they'll be a ride share system, but luggage is put in the trunk or strapped on top of the car, never seen the luggage on lap situation before. Looking forward to the rest of your trip! You should go to Baracoa if you haven't already 😁

Nice, good old Via Azul. That was the old National Zoo, now the City Zoo. I used to get off the city bus at that bus stop where you shot the old blue Lada and walk 18 blocks to get to school in the morning :) these videos bring back old memories. Thanks for sharing!

@@JackandGabExplore Definitely take a classic car tour all around Havana. It was such a surreal experience and we learned so much. I could spend hours walking around all the old streets. Which we did ! Theres no place like it.

I've been watching you guys for over a year and love your videos! Have you ever considered going to Tanzania? I've been there and it was the most amazing trip I've ever been on! There is a four seasons in the middle of the bush and all the hotel rooms surround a watering hole for elephants and other wildlife! Safe travels to you all!

Hi guys!!!!! My favorite travel couple, thank you for saving us misery of ever travelling to Cuba! You convinced me its not the place for us to travel to, wayyyyy to many obstacles, I know that travel comes with many (Phillipines was kinda challenging to travel around), but Cuba seems to be too much for my short temper LOL

Great videos! we were in Havana and Vinales last month and loved it. Only potential scam was the bank guard offered money exchange on the side at a few more cents better on the dollar. I said “No thanks!”. I was taking no chances. We bought cigars at a farm but not one in your videos. The place we stayed on Main Street in Vinales was fantastic. Four of us rented a guide and his 1955 Ford for a 2 day/night drive to tobacco country. thanks for the videos that we totally relate to.
