Why is the Cass review not being addressed? Why are the controversies surrounding the WPATH and the WPATH files not being addressed? Why no mention of the increasing number of European countries that have cut back on pediatric gender affirming interventions? Why neglect the fact that many of these same countries understand that these interventions remain experimental and they base this understanding, not on politics, but on the findings of all of systematic reviews available on the topic of pediatric gender affirmation? What about the WHO acknowledging this year that the evidence base for pediatric gender transition remains limited and variable? How about The European Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP) and the European Academy of Paediatrics releasing new policy and statements on pediatric gender affirmation that acknowledge the many concerns and limitations that are currently being ignored by American groups? Why promote the notion that there is no scientific controversy surrounding these interventions when that is not true? A quick glance into how this debate of developing in Europe should suffice and put these “un controversial” and “established science” claims to rest. Things are not adding up anymore Dr Levine!
