The best part of sentinel prime was when he quoted spock. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Not Optimus PETER CULLEN the man the myth the legend

One of my favorite characters not because of his personality but because of the vehicle mode. It’s something unique that isn’t a typical truck that everyone sees everywhere. I want more of this, the out-of-the-norm not supposed to be here vehicle.

Sentinel definitely had the most depth out of any other movie character

Looks great! Can't wait to get it in hand in just a few days. Definitely one of my favourite Studio Series figures! Awesome review as usual Optibotimus! Edit: There is an alternate transformation for the windshield so it locks the back into place better and is more flush. Just watch Kevin Liu's video or Actar Raikit's video to see how it works.

Bryan Bermejo Yes unfortunately, the waist seems to be fairly loose but it hasn’t been a really big issue for me cause I don’t really use it other then to display which I might add that’s it’s possibility is not the best, everything gets in the way and isn’t that fun to handle. The only good thing about the figure in my opinion is the transformation, I would definitely wait for a sale on it as it isn’t worth dropping the $30 usd for him.

This would be perfect for re-enactiing some of the dotm scenes like my personal favorite one the final battle between sentinel, Megatron and Optimus

Optimus is like “never mind the height”

The Walmart website my local one had him in stock. Ran out to grab him, they lied. However they had the new Shatter, so it wasn’t a loss. I still have Sentinel on preorder, oh well.

The layers that make up his chest are neat.

Well it's true for me though as they had screwed up the upper torso by making to boxy and tyres were in the wrong places, blades were painted wrongly and moulded to fussily. Otherwise paint wise and sculpt wise for me it's more than OK

Soundwave Superior Autobots inferior

Finally got Studio Series DOTM Sentinel Prime today. And originally, I wanted to displaying him fighting Shockwave. And I will. Thought that he and Shockwave could put up a cool fight. But for now, I'm gonna display Sentinel Prime next to my Studio Series Ironhide instead. And he has the DNA upgrade with the two new blaster guns from DOTM. So I'm pretty sure that Ironhide will be glad to Sentinel Prime again. Just saying.

Preordered him and I am so hyped to get him. I guess I’ll use ss 44 Optimus’ shield for Sentinel

I %100 agree with your opinion on why it should be a leader class, it would probabaly produce a better figure in a whole and allow more accessories such as his shield and cosmic rust cannon. But hopefully the third party companies will be able to give us that.

I got this guy at a relatively good price since aftermarket has him going upwards of 300 depending on where you get it.

How did you get the vehicle mode to clip together so well? Mine just keeps un clipping with the feet down so I leave them up.

I got my figure today and it came with a slight QC issue out of the box. One of the blades came warped, and so it will not properly tab into the side of the truck. It instantly falls out, so one side of the fire truck is technically incomplete. Nevertheless, both modes look very excellent. Fantastic figure overall. Looks great next to SS Optimus Prime.

If you want a rust cannon for this, get the original voyager and paint his MechTech weapon red. And BOOM!! A star was born.

Those fire trucks are a very large bulky vehicle. It should be bigger then prime but the vehicle also has more mass. It’s always been a issue if you try and make the robot modes match in scale the vehicle modes sometimes don’t (looking at you Mp bee). It’s a good looking figure, I hope it hits stores here. And while I do like the leaders they all had bulky torsos to house the electronics. Megatron and dotm bee probably the worst for it.

Cool figure that I'll probably be late as dirt finding!! As for their heights in the movies, I'm not sure about Sentinel, but Optimus's 2007/RotF/DotM design was supposed to be 28', with Megatron being 35'. AoE Galvatron was 30', TLK Megatron was somehow 30', and AoE/TLK Optimus was also somehow 30'. I think that backpack doesn't tab in because it's supposed to be his cape from the look of it. Though, a tighter or even ratcheted hinge could probably allow for better posing. The way the swords partsform reminds me of the wings of the Generations Deluxe Megatron (that IDW G2-ish stealth bomber)!! An interesting thing to do would be to arm him up with the MechTech cosmic rust cannon from the DotM Voyager and the shield from the DotM Leader versions of him.

My tabs for snapping the top and bottom together are off by about 5-7mm and forcing it causes unsightly deformities. Any tips? I do not see this problem in the video

Might be a bit late, but i feel like the reason they made sentinel a voyager class (and not including his shield) was because budget, they're trying to sell this figures in a more cheaper way, despite of them being literally more expensive than their mainline figures, which i do get, but it'd still be cool if he's a lot more accurate (and includes the shield) since that's what the studio series is trying to accomplish, the scale.

I love this toy I’ve played with it and its more screen accurate than the original leader class. But I still want the original leader class because it looks better and it’s bigger and has more weapons. Or maybe I could just get the upgrade kit for it

A little advice, try to decrease the brightness of you lights both sides then you will get a better image.

3:16 you were wearing a 316,looking at a 316 and look at the time hehe

If you unfold the buttflap outward folding it straight out it will click past then it will tab into a hole on his upper back and the back flaps will tab in as well that will get it to actually hold better you lose the waist articulation though just a little FYI. 🖖🤖
