I have something. i would like to add at 7:45, the #2 needle bearing has changed they no longer have tabs that lock it in place, at least that I can find. The way I was advised from a friend that owns a transmission shop is to get Dory grease or a toilet bowl wax ring, that’s right a toilet bowl wax ring because it is sturdy enough and will hold the bearing when you turn the input Assembly over to install it to hold it in place and will not hurt the trans.

I always like to replace the bushings, even if they look fine. Bushing failure can cause transmission failure if the bushing seals fluid.

I keep not having enough clearance with the OD pressure plate to install the top snap ring. Any ideas?

Question. In a full rebuild kit, how can you tell which friction is what? All frictions are just packed in with no ID attached. Is there a different color or something? And it looks like the same forward drum setup as in the 62TE. Am I right??
