New subscribe because you're one of the few that actually care about people hurting themselves! I'm tired of these others saying don't listen to people that warn of shoulder impingement or other issues because they say it's BS. I hurt myself because of shoulder impingement a few years back by doing it the general accepted way and it took me over 6 months to recover. I'm back pain free and lost nothing by making adjustments like you've suggested. Keep on teaching and God bless!

Depending on how much u can do probably start off by doing 50 a day then work your way up but do sets. If 10 is best for u do 5 sets of 10. Then work your way up

Great suggestions, with the exception of the suggested technique on the db lateral raise. Turning thumbs down internally rotates the shoulder, thus increasing the impingement on the supraspinatus and other delicate tendons of the rotator cuff. Impingement leads to inflammation, which could eventually lead to a tear. Anatomically it's better to have the thumbs pointing up, which externally rotates the shoulder and opens up the joint.

I watched someone else and their shoulder exercise and it was amazing how it worked. Better than these which I’ve done for years. You can use the smith machine I prefer to sit. Grab the bar reverse grip shoulder width. Have the bar when it comes down close to your chin and press up. Gives you an amazing pump and grows the shoulders. Showed that to a few ppl and they loved it!

instead of doing lat raises with your thumbs down like you pour water, try doing it on your 60 degree bench and thumbs normal or maybe slightly up. this prevents internal rotation of the shoulder joint while hitting exactly lateral head.
