Trailer Home Fire Claims Man's Life 6/7/24 Bensalem, PA.
On scene video of a working dwelling fire on the 1400 block of Gibson Road in Bensalem Township.
Fire companies were dispatched to the Top Of The Ridge Trailer Park around 5:00 pm Friday for a reported dwelling fire. While enroute, first responders were advised that somebody was still inside the residence. Firefighters arrived on the scene shortly and found a mobile home with heavy fire showing and extending to a neighboring home. Companies went in service with multiple handlines to knock down the flames and found a male victim deceased inside the home where the fire originated.
Bensalem Fire Marshal's Office and the police were present on the scene for the investigation. Companies on the scene: Bensalem Fire Rescue, Newport, Newportville, Penndel, Nottingham, Cornwells and Croydon Fire Companies as well as Bensalem EMS.

There were two separate trailer homes. The porch is part of the neighboring unit. This was as close as I could get understandably due to the sensitive nature of the incident.
That sad that the life of a citizen was lost 😢 Having fought mobile home fires and lost resistance, I understand the feeling. Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.

OMG it is 1 A.M. Monday morning and I am checking out fire videos (I was a FF at station 13 Levittown 2 fire co.) and I recognize the yellow house and swear it is my father's house. I am now in NEPA between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. I check my phone for my father's address and the beginning of the video for the dispatched address and no s**t it's the same house. It's too late to call them but doesn't actually look like it's their house that was on fire. Wow what a small world. Prayers for the family that there was a loss of life.

It's so sad when someone losses there life in a fire, mobile homes have only 2 exits to get out, the back and front and there has been more deaths with old ppl coz thay can't move fast enough or can't walk at all and it breaks my heart to those kind of ppl. Thay need to make mobile homes for handicap ppl to get out in case of a fire. God bless 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Depending on the age of the home, there are other exits. Newer homes have easily removable windows for escape. It's up to the individual owner to modify the home for handicapped access. Some manufacturers will build a handicapped accessible home at extra cost. By the way, the age of the victim was not mentioned.
I don't know the age of that mobile home but all those firefighters are taking one hell if a chance not wearing their masks and being on air. Most of those mobile homes are piped with ABS. When it burns it lets off the same gas used in the gas chamber. Its called cyanide gas. I hate to see anyone lose their life and prayers go out to the family for their loss.
our volunteer fire dept could handle fire with our 2 1937 fords. we just keep dumping boxes of tide laundry detergent into the takks for cave men foam. works well.
So happy are Biden's illegal Immigrants & they are so giddy & happy all though someone right there has just lost their life. R.I.P
