On scene video of a crash with injuries on Penn Valley Rd in the Levittown area of Falls Township.
Two people were taken to area hospitals after a serious head on collision between two pickup trucks on Thursday afternoon. Eyewitness reports on the scene stated the driver of a GMC pickup truck fled the scene on foot with an injured passenger still inside the vehicle. That individual was apparently taken into custody by police a short distance away in the Thornridge section.
The driver of the other vehicle as well as the passenger of the GMC were tended to by fire and ems crews before being transported to the hospital. PECO responded to the scene for a downed utility pole and Rob's Towing removed the wrecked vehicles. Falls Township Fire Police handled detouring traffic around the crash scene. The scene was clear within an hour and a half.
