I have received 20 plus comments that I felt I needed to address. I 100% specifically stated in the video I don't condone what the boys did but that I was wondering why they chose to do that instead of trying so many other better options. I also never blamed the parents either so if it somehow came accross that way, I apologize.

I did not feel you were condoning what those boys did, nor blaming the parents, and I listened very carefully. You DID SAY that u do "not condone what these boys did"! Plus, at around 14:15 in your video you even said there were other options these boys could/should have chosen besides killing their family. You even listed some. CPS, Reporting the parents abuse to specialist/Counselors, other people or therapists etc etc. You def did not blame the parents, you were just trying to find a "Why"? Almost everybody wants to know the motive behind a crime, or the why? I'm taking Criminal Psychology right now, and that is the hugest component always. Knowing the "Why" behind so many types of crimes. And you just were trying to understand the why behind these boys doing what they did. Esp by telling about the mental and physical abuse the boys went through, along with their complete isolation from the outside world & other humans, could have been major elements leading into that. It's just your opinion, and a good one at that. And this is all just my opinion too, so please don't come for me. What happened here to this large family was sad & terrible all around. The before and after I feel is just awful, and nobody should have to endure what they went through. Those deaths were beyond tragic, and it was not for those boys to take. May they all R.I.P. ❤️

I could easily hear that boy whispering "help" and "my brother" into the phone on the 911. Why couldn't the operator hear him??!!?? Finally he gave up trying to whisper and talked more loudly because she kept saying "What? What? What?" like she couldn't hear a word he was saying. That might be how his brother(s) found him. Abusive parents cause personality disorders in their children. Traits include: resentment, sabotage, anger, jealousy, destruction of property and murder. Our jails are full of these individuals. Apparently personality disorders are a form of PTSD. I think you're assuming they have a normal personality but "just decided to kill their family for the fun of it." These individuals are mentally unstable, under scans they have different brain functions than neuro typical people. They have ended up with emotional brain damage, and there's no treatment for them either.

I lived down the street from this house in 2015 when the Bever murders occurred. While Robert Bever stated, in court, that everything was his idea and Michael just went along with the plan, police interviews showed that Michael willingly participated...probably more than we will ever know. As you stated, the kids were never seen outside of their own yard. They were not allowed to interact with the rest of the neighborhood. David and April also kept to themselves. David worked at an IT company about 2 miles from the house and basically just went to work and came home. As you stated, the isolation is not a reason to kill your family; but it certainly takes a toll on a young mind, at a time when social interaction is crucial. Leading up to the murders, Robert Bever had also stockpiled multiple weapons, ammunition, and what appeared to be an amateur attempt at making explosives. This was all found after the murders. Robert stated in his interrogation that he and Michael had planned on shooting the family, but decided at the last minute that it would make too much noise. Robert Bever stated that they planned on killing the entire family, putting their bodies in the attic, and leaving several days later, after some more ammunition arrived. He had apparently ordered a large amount of ammunition from an online source and it was due to arrive in a few days...which also prompted the date of the family murders. He didn't want the family to see all the ammunition when it was delivered. As you stated, they planned on driving their father's Chevy Tahoe across the country on a shooting spree. It was very eerie seeing the Tahoe sitting in the driveway for weeks after the murders. At one point, the house was actually listed for sale and there were photos of the interior. That too was creepy, because I remember seeing large portions of drywall had been cut out in the living room and drywall and carpeting was cut out in several bedrooms (due to the excessive blood, I'm sure). The entire neighborhood hoped that the house would just be torn down; and perhaps someone took matters into their own hands. Over a year after the murders, a neighbor remembered seeing a car drive into the Bever's driveway at night and park. Later that night, the house "caught on fire". Arson has always been suspected. One of the reasons that there is no memorial plaque in the park is that this particular neighborhood is adjacent to "The Club at Indian Springs", a golf course and country club; and the neighborhood did not want to call additional negative attention to the area. Additionally, you showed in this video portions of "Indian Springs Soccer Fields". It's the largest soccer field in the area. If you have kids who play soccer in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, you've been there. The soccer fields back up to the woods that lead to the Bever house/neighborhood. The same woods where Robert and Michael were captured. Local soccer teams/parents didn't want to call attention to the murders, so close to where thousands of kids play soccer each year. One thing I can understand is the desire to not make the park a haven for paranormal research. For months after the murders, there were literally strings of cars driving through the neighborhood for a look at the "murder house". Although it's not obvious in your video, this park is in the middle of a street, in a densely populated neighborhood. There were times when cars were lined up all along both sides of the streets, with people filming and such at all hours of the day and night. That's not exactly a selling point when you're trying to sell a house. Prior to the fire, there were multiple arrests of people breaking into the house to get a look at the murder scene. Anyway, many of us thought there should be some non-descript plaque in honor of the victims, especially the children. But, we were overruled. Thanks for doing this video. It was a horrible event that still haunts this area.

Ladybugsaresweet: 911 operators ARE dispatching help AS THEY ARE SPEAKING to the caller. They DON'T wait till the end of the call to start dispatching help. Do you hear the keyboard keys clicking? That's because she's already starting to dispatch help and entering important information into the system such as ADDRESS, what the situation is, all based on what the caller is telling her. OF COURSE SHE HAS TO HEAR THE CALLER!! How does she know what help to send if she can't hear?? A 911 operator's job is to find out the type of emergency, start the dispatch process, then keep the caller on the line, trying to keep the caller calm so the caller can think more rationally and safely themselves, talk the caller through finding a hiding place, or exiting a burning building, or administering CPR, etc, whatever the case may be, ALL WHILE GETTING AS MUCH information as they can in order to dispatch not only the proper type of help, but also to better prepare the responders for what they will encounter. Responders shouldn't go into a situation blind as to what's happening, if at all possible. It's not safe for anybody involved, including the caller. Of course she has to TRY to find out who the perpetrator is so she knows what to tell the responders. You want her to THINK it's the dad, tell the responders it's the dad, and possibly the dad gets shot by the responders? Remember, we are hearing an AMPLIFIED 911 call. 911 operators are not just sitting there twiddling their thumbs and asking stupid questions!! Again, they are sending help AS THEY ARE SPEAKING, all the while getting more information for the responders. For example, are you going to blindly send one or two police officers into a situation with possibly multiple shooters because you didn't TRY to get more information, or send them into a structure that's been rigged to blow up if a door is opened, or a hostage is threatened to be shot if anybody enters, or send a police officer into a situation where an ambulance is needed because you couldn't hear and didn't try to clarify? No. They try to get any information they can so that the outcome is safe for everybody involved. Again, they are dispatching help WHILE speaking to the caller. 911 operators do incredible jobs in MOST cases, oftentimes under very high-stress situations. They have a very, very stressful job, sometimes being at the other end of a call just like this and trying SO HARD to get the proper help to the caller IN TIME. These 911 operators are mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, aunts and uncles too, and you can BET YOUR ASS they are trying their best to help that person on the other end of the line, in time.

Why kill their innocent siblings, and not themselves if the goal was to kill the whole family, why kill 5 other random people a day? I don't think they can blame all this on their parent's abuse. Other than the fact that the abuse messed them up mentally. Hard to trust these families that isolate themselves from society. You never know what's going on in those homes. There's got to be a reason when parents don't want their children to have any contact with anyone outside the family.

A family of four, Mom, Dad, & 2 young daughters were killed this week in a murder suicide in a town called Sand Springs. It sounds like that family isolated themselves from society completely. They only interacted with one another and online, which isn't the same as socializing in person. I am sure they lacked social skills. Were probably so lonely that they created their own little worlds in their heads. The kids probably grew up frightened of what lurked outside. The parents wanting to keep their kids from harm outside, created it in their home. I would think a form of madness came of it.

About the house.. obviously it was a crime scene and sat vacant for a couple years, it kept getting broken into, lookie lou traffic etc. Someone got tired of it and burned it down. The house was in foreclosure and the banked worked with donors and the city to take ownership of the property for the reflection park. Oldest brother worked for a call center place that’s where they got money to buy the guns, ammo, knives and body armor. They ran front the scene out of the back door but a K9 caught them soon after PD arrived. This was a tough one for BAPD and BAFD to work. Surviving sisters were adopted and are doing well.

Its hard to imagine that two brothers would plot and plan this for that long and follow through with it. I wish they plotted and planned to run away from home instead. Well this is a good case where the type of upbringing that produces a psychopath is fully documented. Honestly, the two sisters that survive may have better lives in foster care than they would have had they spent their entire youth trapped inside of a small suburban building, like the killers had. I am sure wherever they are now they are having a wider array of social interaction than they did before the murders. For example, they may have the possibility of actually getting BOYFRIENDS instead of literally being locked in a building with their siblings and parents for decades on end.

No matter how their homelife was, there is no justification for what they did. They were definitely disturbed. I agree tim. I can't imagine the older sister who survived, what that must have been like. You can hear the terror in 12 yr old daniel's voice on the 911 call too. Sad he didn't make it

I and my siblings were homeschooled as well as my friends. All of us have turned out very well and most either have good jobs or are currently in law school, medical school, etc. None of us became mass muderers. We have never even been arrested or in jail. It's not a homeschool issue, it's a people issue. The boys in this tragedy chose to do this just like school shooters make their own choices.

I wonder if city planners decided not to list the family names at the memorial as to not give the killers any recognition, which is what they wanted. They wanted to be known for killing a record number of people. Hopefully, the family is buried in the same location somewhere else.
