Because it has negative connotations. Bobby tends to accentuate the good/great products they sell and dismiss or disregard those that aren't so good. Trader Joes is in the business of making money by selling all their products not just a select few.

On top of what the other comments say, he will almost always point out that you can find a product cheaper at thrive market, doing a sponsored video at a competitor's location, and not just thrive. Hr knows he's supposed to get prior approval, but they will also try to handcuff him in what he can & can't say.

Those ancient grain rolled oats make the best overnight oats imaginable. It's just enough chia seeds to make the milk turn thick and feel like cream and I use an organic monk fruit and vanilla extract to sweeten it. It's epic. It really doesn't need to wait overnight btw. I like my oats a little chewy also, so overnight is sub-optimal for me, but still delicious. Anyways when I go to eat it I throw in some crumbled up granola from this video. It's almost criminally delicious.

Only a few managers for whole store. All the employees you see are interchangeable. Most grocery stores have managers over each section in the store which they have to pay an inflated salary. Trader Joe's sprays and prays. 3 employees earning that one managers wage. That on top of the fact the store is so small you're more likely to run into employees.

  • @fmthebaron

  • @thomass789

@@fmthebaron Why is it absurd? The TJ employees are very friendly, and add to the customer experience, for many of us. Also, have you considered the positive impact that having employees in every aisle of the store has on shoplifting? TJ's "shrink" due to theft is considerably lower than that of many other retailers. Most thieves are not going to steal of they have two employees in their sight at all times.

I’m a life long shopper at TJ, and while I don’t buy every product I will say it is by far the friendliest alongside Whole Foods, and their prices are very fair. I would be lost without their ciabatta bread, frozen almond turnovers, chocolate coated biscotti bars, fresh corn tortillas, and raspberry Greek yogurt… along with so much more. You really can’t compare the 2 stores, Trader Joe’s inventory is a small, mostly store brand selection, that also caters to a “select” crowd like Whole Foods. Few stores are perfect. That said, every store deserves the right to deny their customers the right to use it as a private filming studio. Not all self made videos are kind let alone true. Take your products home and set up a nice vignette to do your video. Everybody’s happy, come on people it’s not that hard. Be nicer here in your comments, everybody's doing the best they can.

I'm usually go to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods and I love watching your top items to buy. I think I'll try out the coconut smoothy and grab a bag of Oatmeal you've recommended. Keep up the great work!

Dear Trader Joe’s: I normally avoid your store because I’m keto and it’s a candy store for me. But, because Bobby comes in there and shows me what’s good I will come back. I still don’t like that you kicked him out tho!

Our trader joe's just recently got the regular pasture raised eggs. They weren't available previously, and we don't have the organic ones unfortunately. Hoping they get them at some point, but until then I'll get the organic free range from Costco. I know free range and pasture aren't the same, but both get feed. I'd rather have the feed that's non-gmo personally.

Yesterday I was looking for salad dressing without all of the bad oils, and the ones that were available with olive were $7 & $8 for a little bottle!!! This was at an independent grocery store. And unfortunately, the near Trader Joe's is 1 hr 30 mins. away!

Hey Bobby! There are only a few products I like buying @ TJ’s. Especially if their gluten free, with my allergy! 😞 I’ve had the olive oil chips, & it’s always a repeat buy! And I still don’t like that coconut smoothie drink! 😆 Tfs 🫶🏼✌🏼

I worked at Trader Joe's for five years, There's a lot of good items there however in their fresh prepared meals section they use canola oil in a lot of them also the reason the prices are lower than other stores is because almost every item is their own brand even though it's made by a lot of the name brand companies so they cut out the middle man and pass those savings on to the customers also all the eggs, Milk and Cheese is artificial hormone free and antibiotic free. And make sure to check the nutritional facts on the frozen meals as most of them overloaded with sodium.

I was wondering what kind of vitamins you give to Rose? My kids (7 and 3) have been getting sick a lot lately my daughter is a very picky eater so it’s hard to get natural nutrients in her. What kind of vitamin and/or super foods do you recommend to boost their immunity?

OY! My TJs is too packed with sugary snacks and is 14% alcohol by volume. Too many unhealthy impulse items to risk going through the doors. I am sticking to Aldi, Whole Foods, Costco and my local traditional grocer.

Enjoy your reviews. Your being honest about various products. That detailed knowledge is what's making me take alot more time reading labels and doing product comparison. I've noticed in your average store. 80% of items aren't good for you. I see myself passing shelves of items I should stay away from.
