Toyota Tacoma | ARB Remote Air Chucks Install | (2017 Tacoma)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hello and welcome, thanks for stoping by. Today I'm installing remote air chuck kits from ARB for the driver and passenger side. I have been trying to find some good locations for mounting the kits for a little bit . I was attempting to keep them in the center the vehicle for easy use/ reach to each tire. The mounting location on the front bed rail/bar is as close to the center line of the truck as possible without installing them on the frame or the roof rack. The cross bar offers a decent location with easy access and the ability to hide the lines within it. The location on the cross bar is inside the exterior lines of the cab, so they should be safe from limbs on the trail. I say should, but anything can happen. It took a good amount of parts and fab work to get just the right amount of form and function. Overall I think it looks decent, I should have drilled the air line hole closer to the edge of the bar. It would have made for a cleaner look up close. They look real good further away and decent up close. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching.
My Shop -- www.amazon.com/shop/classytacos
For the ARB lines and fittings I went directly to the ARB site to track down part numbers from the catalog. Here-- arbusa.com/site/wp-content/up...
Then headed over to Northridge 4x4 here-- cutt.ly/ub6iOva
To order the parts I needed making sure the part numbers matched the ARB catalog. You might want to do something different, so this is a good start on getting you over to the parts where you can chose what you need.

Looks good 👍🏾 could you run an air chuck to the small cubby in the back? Would I do the same process and just extend the lines? Could I run the lines all the way to the back cubby and just make a hole?

Never thought of putting the remotes like that, on my setup, I have the ARB twin, with one line plumbed to the front bumper, the other to the rear to a 1 gallon tank and remote connect right off it. That’s a pretty sweet set up you did.

I definitely agree with keeping everything ARB guaranteed fit and quality like your engineering mindset and the way you try to keep everything OEM the way it should come from the factory if Toyota had that option The only thing I think might look better was if you had that T fitting running all the way up into the bed channel where you didn’t have that loop behind your trax just one line going up but I’m sure you already know that dude I definitely love your videos I’m hooked thanks man

Install was awesome I really like the walk through you had. Do you think you could flip that track around so the lines run between the cab and the bed than that way the lines aren’t near anything and maybe a clean look? Just wondering but great video been watching a lot of your videos and giving me ideas for my taco!

@@chuyhdz3082 Given the current supply issues the prices could be way off in comparison to when I bought these. For all the exact parts I used, I was between $200 to $300. That includes the remote chuck kits which were $50 each. Thanks for watching.
