Towing 3.2 tonne with the 4cylinder LC70 EGT and fuel numbers then we go & buy A 300series GR SPORT

Фильм және анимация

We tow 3.2 tonne with the all new 2024 LC70 1GDLC70 2.8 Automatic and give you our feedback plus EGT numbers pulling Bullet truck up the mountain then compare the figures to the return trip from Central West 4wd park towing the Jayco Expanda Outback 14.44 so after the Drive Till You Drop challenge we will be going back up to Mudgee to bring Bullet home in our brand new 2024 Toyota Landcruiser 300 series GR SPORT

it’s not a Team Bullet episode without that old Spinifex camp stove being put to work….lol There’s been talk of the 300 having excessive oil consumption early in its life, so will be interested in what you experience. Cheers

Yes looking forward to seeing that in the 300, especially as it will be bringing [towing] the 3tonne home soon, the dealership says you can tow straight away with these...Re the cooker, everyone wanted me to throw it out to get a new one... No way I said, then those massive winds in Tasy tossed it a good 6 feet off its mantle, but a few minutes with the old claw hammer, it goes again...

Cheers for comment ,thats why I bought this particular obd, but for some reason I couldn't get actual temps on tranny, thinking maybe there isn't a sensor in this LC auto, taking it to a mate thats good with electronics see if we can work it out..

@@TeamBulletOffroad there is two on later toyota transmission. You need to find the equation. There will be a pan temp and a converter temp. This is one for a a750 5 speed.( °C Equation: (((((E*256)+F) * (7/100) - 400)/10)-32)÷1.8) this might even work to be honest. Do some searching online. I have others as well. Toyota for some reason dont show the auto one freely. Hope this helps.

The one above is pan temp, and this one (Symbol: °C Equation: (((((G*256)+H) * (7/100) - 400)/10)-32)÷1.8) in converter temp on a af750 transmission. The later ones will be similar.
